I love how this song evolved from a line sung while digging in Minecraft, "I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole, diggy diggy hole", which was mixed by Patient Zero into a song called Dwarf Hole, and then the versions here.

The line, "never see the blue moon glow" is a reference to another song by the Yogscast, Moonquest, named after a modded Minecraft series of the same name, about a dwarf that wishes to go to the moon and leaves his clan to do so.

I would actually point to Wind Rose as an example of what the fantasy fandom and DND/TTRPGs are all about; there's an edge of sincerity and reverence that people have for source material and mythology it represents, but then they go and name their character things like "Boblin the Goblin" or "Stabador the Fighter." It's always equal parts Lord of the Rings to Monty Python's Holy Grail.

the yogscast boys are the creator of the song Simon the One singing at the start with glasses was the first person to create it from a simple Minecraft skit and it evolved from their into 2 songs the remix by PatientZero witch Made Yogscast create the Official song witch wind rose used in the Metal version.

Was supposed to see them at Progpower 2019, but the visa didn't come through. They perform in those outfits. If you have not listened to the prog bands Periphery and Leprous you should. Both lead singers are great and have unique voices.

Can we all apriciate how far a song sang by a World of Warcraft and minecraft loving 35 year old and made by Sparkles in his parents living room while visiting them for christmas and he made lots of sounds in it in his parents house.
