I think that removing bloom and adding a dot with recoil for ARs is much better because it rewards better aim instead of making the primary range damage you have rng. Aim assist needs to be nerfed first for sure tho

Ninja peeked with his whole body exposed above the ramp and didn't move at all. The other guy seemed to be at least trying to dodge shots. Also, Ninja is totally in the smg's effective range still and it has more bullets shooting way faster, so spraying at the head of a stationary target is a free kill if you want to play a bloom battle. Also, I think people are still stuck on the Scar being a Swiss Army Knife like Chapter 1, where it can be dominant at every range. Maybe the smg could get a bit of damage fall off sooner, and I also think the purple and gold bursts are so much more accurate than the scar, that the speed of burst shots don't feel slow enough between them to feel like a trade off with the scar, especially since, while the scar is better for spraying builds, a scar isn't fast enough to sneak any shots past turbo building, while a burst is. The scar could tear through several walls fast, but if you are just trying to knock out a wall or two, or sneak in a shot, the burst is still really adequate. That means that the scar needs to have an edge as an smg replacement, and while it is better at longer range spraying, it isn't close to as strong at closer ranges and it also can't sneak in shots through turbo building. I'm fine with the place the scar has to balance to loot pool, but the epic/legendary smg and burst being so much more accurate while the scar isn't as big of a leap in accuracy, it feels like Epic overcompensated in trying to make the burst and smg have a more defined and relevant spot in the meta. Not sure if I'd buff the scar, but the burst and smg might deserve some nerfs and balancing for season 2.

It's not the AR, it's the shooting mechanics, How it registers the bullets (bloom, first burst ac.)

Extended: when you hit your first shot on the enemy your next bullet has a higher percentage of hitting. The bloom then effects that percentage. So basically you need first burst accuracy and the right bloom to hit, let alone you're aiming from far away a lot of the time. The shooting mechanic is fucked.

Pause at like 53-54 seconds.He still has 10 hp yet his loot has already dropped like he’s dead.Also yes the bloom and damage of the scar is trash unless ur crouched and the damage or rate of fire needs to be nerfed on the regular smg and the p-90 needs to go back in the vault.Played a match yesterday and was top 4 and there was a kid with a gold aug,epic p-90,bandage gun and floppers,he passed up both gold shottys and wasn’t even using the aug at rifle range.He was just spraying through everyones walls and i’m guessing he was on low ping too because there was no keeping him out of a box,he would spray through a wall,stairs and kill u all in a single clip.
