Please stop…..Return To Halloweentown came out years ago, and people like you are still butthurt over Sara Paxton playing Marnie? Get over it. Kimberly J Brown was literally filming another movie at the same time that R.T.H.T was being filmed, there wouldn’t have been enough time for her to reprise her role as Marnie so the casting directors had no either choice but to recast her part. Sara Paxton herself never demanded to play Marnie, all she did was audition for it and the fact that to this day she still receives hate and even death threats for it…..get a life, get a grip, and leave her alone. If you wanna get mad at someone, get mad at the casting directors but don’t hate on, get mad, and take your anger out on Sara because that wasn’t her fault. If Kimberly didn’t have an issue with Sara playing Marnie and doesn’t hold hate and grudge over her for it…..then none of you should either.

My pitch for a sequel: The portal between our realm and Coventry is closed while Cameron is in Coventry and Alex is in our realm, seemingly keeping the realms and the sisters separated forever. Over time, Cameron rules alone as Queen but still tries everything to re-open the portal, but Alex over time gives up as she has no magic to help her (I’d think Cameron could still have her own magic, but is weak, and Alex loses it almost completely, having been away from Coventry for too long. OR both sisters eventually lose their magic over time). Years pass and Alex is a successful author having written about her adventures (plus other material) and a mother of two daughters (played by Chloe and Halle) who struggle to get along (dunno if due to the death of their dad or if the dad is alive, but a bit cliche if the dad weren’t alive). One of the sisters can be a goth character, like described in the book, and maybe has a fascination with the occult, while the other has more in common with Cameron, preppy and popular. Eventually, when Alex discovers that the girls have their own magic and the portal is finally open, the daughters learn that the stories that their mom had been writing about were true. The only reason Alex didn’t mention it all being real was because she had lost her own magic and had no way of proving the events were real. With another threat occurring, the three of them head to Coventry to discover their past, Alex reuniting with her sister, and the two daughters re-discovering their own powers and bonding more as sisters. There is a lot of potential with this scenario, like Cameron could have learned to be a more responsible person as Queen Apolla, but also misses her life in our world. Also there’s a mystery to unfold as to why the portals were closed in the first place, and where the threat lies.
@melodramaticdragon5826 Жыл бұрын
This is great!! If I may add: I think it could be cool to still have the Evil Aunty Minerva tempting one of the sisters to the dark side plotline. Maybe as subtle forboding in the background for a while. Maybe one of Alex's daughters has been having psychic dreams about it. Anyway, Alex’s daughters become convinced that their mom is the one being corrupted. Only for the reveal to be that it's actually Queen Cameron, who was secretly training with Aunty Minerva in an attempt to get her magic back (not realizing that Minerva was stealing her magic, and bewitching her all the time). But also, maybe Minerva isn't actually evil. Maybe she really just wants the best for Coventry, but has been villainized for it bevause she's going against her "perfect" sister, leading to a bonding moment between her ans Alex's goth daughter. So, three-generational twins, healing trauma, and sisterly bonding all around.

Cam and Alex being at odds for years causes Cam to become the new darkness. A battle between generations The mom twins, Alex and Cam, Halle and Chloe. exploring how darkness is influenced on the bloodline of the family and how it affected Miranda's Husband and his brother and where it came from probably an ancestor doing dark magic or being cured.

From an Astrology perspective, as both being Ophiuchus risings(sketchy accuracy of time but also based off of my own observations), Tia’s signature trait are her hooded eyes.(A Plutonic/Scorpio/Ophiuchus physical trait). While Tamara’s, like others have mentioned, is her signature mole(possibly from her rising sign’s ruling planet of Pluto being in Libra?) creating a defining(Pluto) beauty(Libra) physical trait.

I’m so mad the kindle version “updated” the first book to remove the 2000s references. I was too sullen and snobbish to like the movie when it first came out; it’s a bit more cutsey and bright compared to the book which has a more serious tone. Especially with the Alex changes! I agree they should’ve stuck to the book style (I wanted hair color changing, cynical goth Tamara 😭). Still, I can tell how happy and how much fun the cast was having and appreciate it now.

I loved the twitches movies so much as a kid. My childhood best friend at the time was an artist and i was a writer so we would give each other sun and moon things and call each other Cammie and Alex. It was, and still is, one of my favorite dcom movies just for the memories alone.

ahhh twitches has always been one of my favorite disney channel movies. i rewatched it after a couple of years and actually cried when they started talking about loving their sister to defeat the darkness. it's such a sweet spooky fantasy story full of family love with interesting lore. it's a pity the sequel wasnt as great as the firt and they werent able to make that third movie, but im glad for what we have (and i still sing their little song every now and then XD) i do find it weird that you mentioned there having been no flash games because i clearly remember playing one of the dc site where they had to defeat pink and blue shadows (depending on who you were playing as Cam defeated the pink ones and Alex the blue ones)

I love twitches a definite rewatch every Halloween, also I remember there being a twitches two game on the Disney Channel website where you switch between Alex and Camryn to vanquish different colored shadows.

I’m a 2008 kid and I love these movies because whenever I was about 4 when I first watched the first movie they need to bring it back

This has become a yearly tradition for my sister and I to watch, even now that were 19 and 23 respectfully we still come over to one another's house to watch this movie and the sequel together, because that was like our childhood, every year without fail we'd bust it out and coraline too
