In this episode of The Circuit, Emily Chang speaks with two people who know Twitter better than almost anyone: Co-Founder and former CEO Evan Williams and one of the most critical members of the founding team, Jason Goldman. They reflect on Elon Musk’s takeover, Silicon Valley’s new era of austerity, and the future of social media. Chang also sits down with former Twitter employees to hear about their experiences before and after Musk’s deal-or-no deal rollercoaster. (Note: At 9:06, the timestamp should be April 17, 2009 - not April 16, 2014.)

This doesn't make me NOT slow as I definitely can be. Jack Dorsey says Elon Musk was the 'only alternative' for Twitter because it would have 'never survived' as a public company. Elon taking over and exposing what Twitter DID to certain demographic of people actually make them look bad. Elon basically exposed them. Both seems to be on the LEFT side of political spectrum too. It is crazy how they are criticizing Elon for not doing something "interesting" fast enough. What were they doing when they were in charge? They think Twitter is worse off now than when they were in charge of the company???? Reeeeeaally???? Nothing innovative about allowing142 something characters for tweet and NOTHING ELSE. Only innovation is allowing people to discuss live whatever is on their minds and people actually getting on board with the platform.

LOL It's that is a wildly naive summary. Twitter is much more technically broken now and that's not sustainable if they don't clean up the functionality. Then Elon saw what Hotz was doing and kicked him out. But by then a lot of damage was done by Hotz. Then they had to fix all of that damage which must have taken them a long time. But it's better now. Hotz does Heavenbanning I'm sure he did that for all social media websites and they Wanted this.
