I completed the nvme install on my old HP Z440. I bought an HP Turbo Z pci-e adaptor for $29 Australian. Changed one setting in the bios and loaded Windows 10 pro. Super fast.

Hi @honahwikeepa2115! I would like to upgrade the stock ssd in the Turbo Z (SM961) with a brand new WD Black SN770; i clone the ssd, i put it in the adapter but then it doesn't boot....you mentioned you changed one setting in the bios...what did you change? Thank you.

I'm putting an NVME in mine using the HP Turbo pci-e adaptor. Nice video.

because of this ssd I loss lots of my data & projects... All of these ssds stop working after 1 year

No even mentioning that I did not have a single SSD failure on any of my computers since I upgraded to them.
