they got better the second they left psychopathic. now the clowns can't hold them back anymore. icp only allows artists that people like less than them on their label. any time they sign a spitter that's better, they put 'em on the back burner and never let 'em shine. the clowns couldn't handle having actual artists on their label. they got overshadowed by the talent of others that they don't themselves possess.

As a fan of music in general, I don't see how ppl don't like Twiztid or their former labelmates ICP. their just trying to make a living, providing for their families and giving back to their communities like good people should. I am not a huge fan, but I know this sounds better than a LOT of the MAINSTREAM music out there. Underground music deserves better media attention than all the negative shit that gets spread. I'm friends with ICP fans and their tired of the fanbase being viewed as a gang. doesn't seem fair in my opinion. Like I said, I'm not big fan, I'm more of a Metal/Punk/New Wave/Goth/Industrial fan. But, this is so good. keep up the good work, Twiztid!

I was never into the juggalo scene [nothing against it though... I come in peace, I swear lol] , but I've always had a soft spot for Twiztid. They seem like swell guys and their music is relatable even to the people who aren't in the tight knit juggalo crowd. I think that's why I liked them so much. They were loyal to their main core, but always reached out beyond to any outsiders willing to listen to them as well. I would love to go to a show sometime, now here's hoping they come around my area ...Alabama *hint* * hint* ;)
@ometta710 жыл бұрын
***** They're never going to be able to fully break away from the Juggalo scene unless they come out and diss Juggalos directly (a la the Jokerr, who *still* has Juggalo fans despite shitting on them constantly), which is something they will probably never do. Even if they leave Psychopathic, even if they stopped being Juggalos themselves, Juggalos would still follow them because Juggalos are generally attracted to any horrorcore and/or other esoteric or niche rap subgenres regardless of whether or not the artist actually identifies as a Juggalo or even acknowledges them. Case in point: SKR. Not a Juggalo label, none of the artists identify as Juggalos or mention them in their songs, but they still have a lot of Juggalo fans because they rap about dark shit. Also, don't be a dipshit fanboy. If a young Juggalo doesn't know about some obscure shit, that doesn't mean they aren't a real Juggalo or that Juggalos have become a trend. At best, it just means they're young and haven't learned as much as you. At worst, it means you're being a hipster nerd, more obsessed with knowing shit that others don't than actually enjoying the music and the sense of community in the fandom. Being a Juggalo isn't about what you know, being a "true fan" of ANYTHING isn't about what you know. It's about how the music/movie/show/comic/game/etc. makes you feel, how it enriches your life, and the sense of togetherness you feel from sharing this thing that gives you such joy with like-minded people. Remarks like the one you just made piss me off, because they miss the fucking point entirely. I disagree that Juggalos are a trend. Absolutely NOBODY is proudly admitting to liking Insane Clown Posse because they think it will make them cooler. That's like admitting to liking Limp Bizkit, or Nickleback, or even Justin Bieber. Juggalos are snark bait, easily trolled and easy targets for mockery. None of us are doing it to be popular (which is what a trend is, at least in this particular context), we're doing it because it gratifies us in some way, and what we get out of it is more important than what other people see us as (which is meth-addled retards who are all 400 lbs overweight and live in double-wide trailers). Of all the criticisms that can be levied against us, that's probably the least valid. Seriously, the one about us all being pedophilic Satan worshipers has more validity than that.
@BeCoolAndLiveLife10 жыл бұрын
ometta7 I actually like and listen to Insane Clown Posse as well ha ha. I don't hide the fact either. I think they're hilarious people :) I know you were directing that comment to to the other dude, I just felt like replying and clearing my opinions on the matter. I agree with you, I don't think Twiztid will ever break from the juggalos, but I don't feel like they need to either. It's a blurred area being " just a fan" versus being an actual juggalo. I don't claim juggalo because I'd be ashamed to, I don't claim it because it's just not me or who I am. I don't have the emotional connection, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the music and get along with the people ;) I respect you guys, and feel like if it's what makes you happy and it's where you belong, then rock on.

Twiztid is so lyrically sick, it's ridiculous, This song is dope, but I almost wish their style wasn't so niche. These guys really do have the ability to expand..

***** People did freak out, when they dropped Heartbroken and Homicidal. That was their "fuck you, we're gunna try making music like we want to for ourselves, not how our fans want us to" album. Was not well received... It is my favorite album of theirs, tho, and shows most clearly that they arent an ICP alternative, they are a whole different thing altogether. And if this song is an accurate representation of their new album, I will definitely be making that purchase.

***** The consistency in their content isn't because their trying to keep fans. Its because that's who they are. They're not the type of rappers who are gonna brag about money or cars or anything you'd see in stereotypical mainstream rap, and they don't have the traditional hip hop mindset with the whole culture thing going so there isn't much they could really change as far as what type of music they make without actually selling out in attempt to please mainstream fans. Their style has always been this, even before they were on Psy and they were still HOK. And frankly they have changed, a lot, maybe not compared with abominationz, but if we compare abominationz with anything previous there's a huge change. and Sean Carey I completely agree, I thought heartbroken and homicidal was dope as hell. The first track spiderwebs erked me a bit, but other than that the album was really fucking good.

H&H is my favorite Twiztid album, too. Love it. I wish Jamie would slow down a little on these newer releases, though. If he's trying a new style that's faster & he feels comfortable with it, cool, but at least give us some tracks with traditional Madrox flow. H&H was perfection.

Twiztid is and always be lyrical monsters. Wasn't really into h and h but im an old head so early twiztid will always be the best in my thoughts. But the newest of thier music is legit this mixtape was sicc. Im not really into the hooks on the wasted tracks but the people they have on the tracks are a few folks short of being possibly the best collabs ever. Monox boogie has always been one of my favorite mc's and is honing in his skills in a spectacular way. And Jaime "the multiple man" madrox always kills he has always had faster raps through the albums. It isn't some new device he is working on. Dude has legit talent be it quick mind melting spit, multi- syllable ryhming devices,surreal ability to make your mind live his words, or combining all of it to bang your fuccin earphone out like a miracle mile hooker on Halloween. Twiztid is bidness! keep it sleazy!
