I know Twiztid is no longer associated with Psychopathic, and I'm sure if anyone reads this, they have their own strong opinions about Jamie and Paul. But this song came out when I was 16 years old. My mom was hooked on meth, and we were homeless sleeping on the couch of whatever guy she was using with that week. I had loved Twiztid since I was 13, they were my idols. When this song dropped it made me feel strong, it made me feel like I was going to get through that horrible point in my life. And I did, Thanks Family.

In 2007 the year this song was bumpin, I have a very fond memory of the things that were happening, like you this song made me feel like things were gonna be okay, I was a little older than you, of course I've always felt like I am 18 forever, but I had been involved with alot of gang life and criminal activity, I live in Alabama, and down here it was twiztid and boondox that we kept in our cd player in the car, my younger brother was 18, I was 21, and we got into some beef with some dudes on the Southside of where I'm from, that Saturday night we were cruising our main strip, there were hundreds of us parked on the side of the street, we were bangin some twiztid with the trunk open, I had 15 inch sub woofers I remember "afraid of me" playing and these guys from another part of town started an altercation with my brother and they pulled out there iron and started firing at us, hitting my girlfriend, me, another friend and unknowingly my little brother, he died later that night, but after that this song til this day gets me through that memory, and all the other bad times...so I'm with you

You can say what you want about juggalo's as a whole, but you can't deny rap skill. They have flow and complex lyrical content. I no longer consider myself a full blown juggalo, but I'll always call myself a twiztid fan. I've loved these guys since I found them in 2008 when i was in 8th grade. lol. This and the song 'we don't die' have made me a life long twiztid fan. I don't care what other people may say about them or the group they represent. They're good at what they do, and in the end isn't that all that matters? Love rappers for what they do, not who they associate themselves with.
