12:00 I think the mug thing is more about them not wanting to be wrong because that shelf isnt the important part it’s just that it’s not supposed to be moved. Also it’s not like I can just flip a switch to my rigidness and just be kind, it’s hard we want to be kind and gentle but it’s unnatural it’s exactly the opposite of how my brain thinks.

Totally get what you mean, it's not easy to change our natural instincts.

I’m looking into this as a type seven married to a type one. He’s been so miserable and depressed for weeks. To the point he is considering leaving education his job of ten years. I just want to help him.

I'm a one, but I could almost be a nine. My husband is a nine, and after 30 years, he's rubbed off on me! Everything you've said is true. I've brought in 4,7,9 into my life and feel much less stressed.

That's awesome to hear! Partners really do have a way of rubbing off on each other. Keep soaking up those positive energies!

I’ve been waiting for this video. Your other mental health videos have been so great and I am eager for advice on how to improve. There’s my one-ness showing itself. 😂 Keep up the great work!

My E1 mom has schizotypal pd, so it adds a layer of eccentricity to her rigidity, and the lack of social connection puts her in a rough spot all the time. So her frustration and negativity flares up daily. Other people see it as neurotic behavior but she can never see things from another person's view. Since you interacted with many 1s I presume, have you noticed any personality or mental disorder that are correlated with 1?

Yes, I find myself exhausted, frustrated, and paralyzed by my own "pursuit of perfection."

I feel you, man. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and breathe.

we are doing the right thing and its hurtfull to doing the wrong. rules are signs for finding the truth. its like basics the truth. the life is serious we are here for a reason and christianity is about that too. we cant wait. if we can do it great then why wouldnt we? we shouldnt feel "it can wait" no. one wrong will make everything go wrong like a domino stones. please do not tell us to lay down 9. we are ok. we take care ourselfs bc its right thing to do. personally i dont judge people bc its wrong. im having my plesures too bc im healthy. im fun person while im with friends but i take their responsibilities too. making something wrong is could destroy things. for example Rules are for finding right and wrong. It is always hard to find the right but rules make it possible . If you do wrong, it is wrong For example, if you eat rice with a fork, it spills. The simplest example. personally i always lay down to my standarts bc it deserves. the life deserve full potential of me and this is luxury. I should be living proof :D and this is what i want for myself to live. I take responsibilities humanity by being right you know? we are all examples for everyone. i should be right so people look at me and take my good behaviors in their lifes.

I have a hard time distinguishing between my type as I appear to have strong aspects of both 3 and 1. I have done many assessments and have tested as either one depending on the type of test I use. I have both of these characteristics it’s really really challenging

My partner is a 1w9 (I’m a 9w1) I have never understood why she has stated at times she feels like she “is getting in trouble” when I want to have a more serious conversation. With watching this I think it’s if she perceives anything as critical of her she sees it as getting into trouble.

As a 9 woman I feel it the other way round, I'm always in trouble with my 1 husband! Just not enough

@@janicebernard642 now that you say this, I can see this with some ones (I work in counseling and the critical piece of one’s). My partner is so high in 9 that her criticalness is more towards herself, not others. But you made a valid point, and hence why other numbers we are high in have an influence

First one so accurate. I used to think everyone thought on doing right and well... XD Rest of advise quite worked already, I am a bit of a funny clown sometimes; I think I got healthier. Thank you a lot for your content.

Which enneagram are you when you are the scapegoat in the family and you have unexplained chronic fatique, your whole life depression and have not a good sleep -> insomnia. I just want a pieceful life? Which job? I have my high school degree. What now? I want a pieceful job. I dont want to be a workaholic. I have so much emotion. I need to do walk everyday to do a short vacation. I have fear of failure. I cant decide. I have pisces rising with no planets in. Pisces rising are only disadvantages and pisces rising cant decide. I just want to be free from this world. But how? And what I need to do? I have my high school degree.

Wow, this is such a harangue! If you tried lecturing this way in the university or giving a sermon this way in church you would lose your audience and your reputation. Sounds like you’ve got a lot of bottled up anger against type one.
