At 1:29, you see that Herb is planting on a shady side of the house. The scene is probably based at 5 O'Clock in the evening for this scene, which would mean Herb is planting on the west side of the house. That means the wall behind Alan at 1:48 is to the south of Herb's garden. And you also see that the shadows of the tree behind Alan are cast back toward the house. #1: Herb doesn't seem to know the first thing about gardening. He's planting in a location that seems to be incredibly shaded, except for a couple hours in the morning. #2: Shadows shouldn't be cast both east and west simultaneously. There's gotta be another light source.

When it was still funny and worth watching.. I was wondering earlier and mind you I never watched even 15 seconds of the new series with Kutcher but how did they explain a millionaire buying a house in Malibu and allowing a total stranger with his kid to stay living in it totally depriving himself of any privacy one expects to have in his own house while he can afford to buy any house on the beach or even have one built to his own likes and needs...without an unwanted house guest...
