Also helps the Whisperer and Necro punish them for not doing their task. Yeah imposters and neutrals do too, but you get kills popping up frequently with those, so crew never feels motivated to do tasks, while this mode forces them to actually put in the effort since deaths won't be commonly reported, making it harder to narrow anything down.

@@zura8879 Yes I’ve noticed tasks felt broken because finding the killer was always highest priority because an arsonist isn’t super scary as long as you keep it in the back of your head. Now everyone is back to doing tasks again.

I kinda hope they make a corpse-based neutral role into this game someday. But not like necromancer. Specifically, your own corpse. Kinda like a survivor, but you can choose to die at any time (or depending on some conditions, or tie yourself to another player's life like a Lover), and you win with anyone if your body gets reported. Imagine the confusion, when you don't know if what just died were lovers, swooper or this role just trying to get reported. And frustration when you put your corpse in a perfect spot, only for someone to press a button instead.

I have an idea for you: The Revenant. Comes back in the same manner as a Phantom or Haunter. Objective: Kill the player who killed them to win the game. (Longer kill cooldown though.) If The Revenant's Target is killed by another living player, THAT player becomes the Revenant's New Target. ( For denying it revenge.)
