Looks like there is a road, across the pool. Is there another way to access the beach? Do they have a set up for the beach as well?

There is a road to cross to the pool by the ocean, but not the pools closest to the timeshare. I suspect this will get developed more as the restaurant wasn’t open yet. The beach hasn’t been developed yet either. But there is a small beach. There are flashing wall lights to cross the street.

Thanks for posting. Can you give any tips on getting the room upgrade? Are there any slides at the pool?

That is interesting. I don’t remember any slides (I’ll watch my own video to confirm). I got an automatic upgrade as a premier+ owner. Getting a free upgrade is a matter of luck. But stay off peak will increase the odds of being lucky (which was what I did).

I highly recommend the place. I love the town of kihei. It is a small beach town. If you love coffee, check out Lava Java

Is it a long drive to Lahania?

I would estimate about 30 minutes... The Kaanapali Beach Club is near Lahaina

There is a foodland and a safeway... Lots of shops in Kihei (About 1-2 miles away.

In your video, I didn't see the Master Bedroom toilet. Does it have the heating, washing and drying features of similar toilets at the other HGVC resorts or does it not have those features?

It is behind the door next to the shower. Yes, it is heated. My bad.

I was told that in November another 60 rooms would open up... I walked past them and the kitchens were in... Just looled like they needed furniture.... There are currently only 30 rooms... I think the plan is for over 200. Availability should improve next year.

The rooms seem really nice - but they are missing a deep soaker tub, which is a deal breaker for my wife.

That’s a bummer. Would be a great addition. Guessing the hot tubs fail because of privacy. But a hot tub with an ocean is not too bad an alternative 😁😁😁😁. But that is just me.
