Reminds me of this Asian thing... Everyone has a red string. It rests on your finger, the other end connected to your soulmate's finger. You can watch the string move. The string never breaks or gets tangled. Once the red string turns black, it means your soulmate has died. I'm not sure if it can be replaceable or if it will still be attached to your finger. This reminds me of my best friends my relation ship. I'm an introvert and she's not. She's into all this activities and I stay home. She takes the dive, I stay behind. I always tell her I would, but I can't. She wants to help me but she's realizing now I'm lying and might never change, so I'm just watching as she leaves me. This actually almost made me cry because I want our relationship to survive but we hardly see each other anymore. Maybe it's for the best. She deserves to fly away. That's me. I never want to go out, unless I'm going somewhere fun. But, I just end up staying behind most of the time. I also had a best friend he was just like me, but more active. We still went outside and played together. But as the time past, he went out more without me. I knew I was just dragging him down. When I would try to find him, or talk to him he would walk away and go play with friends, or just wouldn't look in my direction. At some time I did get his attention and I asked, "Why are you avoiding me?" He replied, " You aren't as fun anymore, you're always in your room, on your phone. You never come out and play with me." Those words were burnt into my mind. He also said, "We can still be best friends, but if we're going to continue this friendship you have to come out of your shell once in a while." I made the deal, and we both went out a lot. Then when he had to move, we confessed our feelings toward each other. After that, we're boyfriend and girlfriend now. So that's cool.

yeah... i also get that as well, i have this one girl in my class who is very happy and positive and if you compare me to her, she's more confident than me, but i'm not, i have a lack of confidence. when she found out about my problems, she started to come and help me, but me, being unable to believe that advice is a good thing and all, i decided to ignore everything she said to me, and the first time she told me these things, she knew what i was doing, she knew that i was lying, and that she knew... that i didn't want her advice. she still gets on my nerves to this day. every time i see her in a such a good mood, and me, always being in a poor and rough mood, it makes me really annoyed and it gets on my nerves a lot. after reading this comment, i kind of felt more open to talk about how i'm feeling, so, thank you, for that. it's kind of hard for me to remember everything that has happened, but... overall, i'm starting to become a bit more open about sharing about how i feel and my negativity on the internet. if you're confused on what i'm talking about, and if you want me to be more specific, then... i guess i'll tell you, so... something has been getting on my nerves a lot ever since. i was just so inactive that i decided to quit sharing about how horrible i'm feeling, and after realizing about how inactive i was, i decided to become active again but as i did, i started to have no motivation, whatsoever, on being open about talking about my depression and anxiety, that did start from over 2 years ago, but anyways, i lost a lot of motivation ever since i started to be active again, and that's when it got so horrible, i started to have doubts over what i wrote about my feelings and all, i started to think that i was lying and that i was making things up, i started to not share my feelings at all, i didn't want to share my life at all, i really had a lot of problems regarding me not being able to post any vents at all, i was so unmotivated that i just didn't know what to do, i still have this problem to this day, but i'm still trying to get my motivation back so that i can try to get back into the habit where i posted a lot of venting stuff, but, anyways... this song, also kind of reminds me of that girl, we used to be such great 'friends', we used to hangout a lot and we used to get along quite well, until the day she found out about what i've been through, so, the story is, i was sitting alone at recess, while that girl was somewhere else, and while i was being alone, that girl noticed me, and walked up me, she asked me if i was okay, and so what i did was that i told her that i was fine. she knew that i was lying so she asked me again, this time i had to tell her the truth, well, actually, when she asked me the second time, i refused to tell her, but then when she kept on asking me, because apparently she wants to 'help' me, i told her why i was in such a different mood, i really regret doing that, though. it's surprising that i still remember this moment, but... from what i can remember, while she was giving me 'advice' and when i told her that there were voices in my head that told me constantly that i was worthless, and that i didn't deserve anyone in my life, and that i deserve to be alone, she yelled at me and told me that those voices were saying such lies and that all they said was a lie, i didn't want to believe her, so i just completely ignored her, i told myself that she was lying, and that she KNOWS that what the voices said were true, i know myself to this day that those voices are indeed true, in fact, i still feel a sense of hopelessness. i even told her about my suicidal thoughts, but when i told her so, she told me constantly to not cause harm to myself, or to not commit suicide, and that if i do commit suicide, or that if i do cause harm to myself, she's going to be depressed forever and that EVERYBODY is going to miss me, now, to this day, i do know that there's a lot of people out there who tend to care for you and who do think that you are worthy of having friends in life, but... it's just... so hard, for me to believe that. anyways, when that girl told me that, i told her that i didn't care, anyways, i think, if that's what i can remember... but, anyways, i kept on declining the good and positive things that she told me and i kept on ignoring her, in fact, she really didn't like it when i told her that i faked my positivity for her, so that she could like me and accept me for who i am as a person, i'm only happy for others so that they don't have to be worried about me and all, i'm not really happy about myself, only others, being happy for others in my opinion is more important than being happy for yourself. i mean, it's... kind of a good thing that me and her aren't... like, 'friends', anymore. because that girl really gets on my nerves nowadays because of her constant happy and positive attitude, i'm like the opposite of her. i'm more in the negative space, and i have a lack of confidence, i don't really believe in myself, i don't think really highly of myself, and i tend to have suicidal thoughts. that girl may have the same disorder as me, and she may be battling it, right now, but... it just makes me believe that i'm the one lying about my feelings and that SHE'S the one telling the truth about HER feelings. that girl is more, like... in the positive space. i really hate it whenever i see her in such a good and positive mood. it makes me really upset and her attitude gets me on my nerves. seeing a girl that is the opposite of negative just gets me on my nerves. i don't want to be like her but she just gets me on my nerves. her extreme positive attitude makes me think that the way she acts and all just seems... forced, now, i'm not going to be speaking for myself for this one, and i'm not saying that i'm lying or anything, or that my emotions are forced, but, the thing is... she, is just... really, really happy, like, every single day, she just seems to be in a good and bright mood, she's really right, i'm not proud of her or anything, but... the way she acts just gets on my nerves a lot, she's really confident about herself and she believes in herself, she's more happy than i am, i can be happy, but i don't act the way that she does with herself, i... do try to help others, but... it's really hard for me to do that, i only help others, but not myself. but if i do help others, the advice that i give them will drown ME into my own advice, and then it's going to lead me to keep on thinking about it. to this day, we barely talk to each other and whenever i see her with a different classmate of mine, i get this weird feeling in me, i don't know why, but it just gets on my nerves, now, i did tell one of the girls she was friends with about her extreme positive attitude and how it got on my nerves a lot, and she completely agreed with me, she told me that she heard that somebody also said that they were also annoyed with how that girl acted, and then she told me that she wouldn't be friends with her, anymore. i mean, i feel pretty much relieved that she was on my side and not on that girl's side, because if she were on that girl's side, it would make me pretty upset and worried. anyways... yeah, i get you, like, a lot. sorry if i vented... like, way too much. i just had to. i wanted to talk about that girl because she always gets on my nerves.

I know it's because of the Asian myth about the string of fate or however it goes, I don't really know it, but this reminds me of the book "When the Mountain Meets the Moon". It's a book about a Chinese girl who befriends a flightless dragon and they go to (I believe) the 'man in the moon' to ask a wish. Although the girl's family is poor and she wanted to wish for wealth, she instead wished for the dragon to be able to fly. The dragon had a huge pearl on his head, and when he took it off he wasn't weighed down and could fly. He gave it to the girl in return for her generousity and she sells the pearl and helps her family. It's not particularly the story, but the fun fact that the man in the moon had red strings of fate woven onto his hands as I remember it. (Sorry for the long block of text but I wanted to throw that out there!)

This was the second map I ever saw. Long time ago and I’ve seen maaaany now but I was obsessed with it. I’d sing the song and know whose part would come at what time. Even though this old, I hope you’re all proud of it. Videos like these got me into animating and now I’m even hosting my own map. Guess you could say this was one of the little things that inspired me to make something big ❤️🌸
