The two African Greys don't agree on much, but they both love attention from their Mom! Regina rescued them both from sad pasts and began bonding to them very quickly. As they settled though, she discovered they had completely opposite personalities and didn’t like each other. Luckily though, they can put their differences aside when it comes to getting her attention and they’ve become a happy flock

Parrots are magnificient creatures...I think many people have no idea what a responsibility and commitment they represent over several decades...they will accompany you throughout your entire life...and under no circumstances should they be kept alone in a cage...how would people feel if they were locked in a small prison cell all by themselves...and that is exactly how the bird feels too...but it is very nice to see that this woman is committed to giving her parrots the best life possible.

I've often felt so sorry for Budgerigars (Budgies) as they're always kept in cages. Same with Finches. I reported a local pet shop once for this - tiny finches in tiny cages, in a darker side of the shop. Awful! Birds should be where God intended - flying free outside, wherever and whenever possible. In the case of 'owned' and confined birds, then, yes do a lot of research in order to give them the best life possible, out of cages, access to as much of the house as possible. Lovely to see these two parrots having a great time ❤🦜♥️🦜♥️

I've often thought that the reason we fail to understand just how intelligent animals are is because we, as humans, have thousands of different facial expressions, and animals don't. That makes them seem unintelligent to us, but it's not true. African Greys are probably as intelligent and sophisticated as young humans.

By the way, re the pet shop I reported in the Comment I posted below, I wrote to the RSPCA (in the UK), mentioning these birds enclosed in really tiny cages, and other concerns. The shop closed after this. I don't know if it had anything to do with my letter. But I certainly hope so! There needs to be stricter regulations re these businesses etc, as they're making money off live creatures, and it's downright unethical and wrong!!! This part of a much wider issue, of course; people breeding animals etc, in order to make money. If people would wake up and stop buying from these places they could go out of business! 🚨

I had a couple of Cockatoos. Unfortunately the female Umbrella died after emergency surgery and the ex has the Goffins. I still feel blame myself because I didn’t take the Umbrella to the vet for the first two days I suspected she might be sick, although she appeared to be OK. But African Greys are really smart, I believe smarter than even German Shepherds. Greys tend to be less “snuggly” than Cockatooos but I believe Greys tend to bond with one person and can be really friendly, like these. But after having parrots I think that breeding them anymore for pets should perhaps be outlawed. These Greys need a home as they’re bonded to this gal. But I’m pretty convinced birds should be outside, flying free. (I actually think the same thing for most animals though. I started taking care of feral cats but they stayed outdoors and over time they became very friendly. I was able to trap them, get them fixed, microchipped and they got their vaccinations, But those cats had it made because I fed them everyday but they got to be outside too. I even let a few of them inside for short periods if they wanted.)

The word “only” is a tricky beast. I believe it’s supposed to be placed next to the word or phrase it modifies. If that’s true then I think the title should be, “Two Birds Love Only One Woman.” (“Two Birds Love One Woman Only” might work but it’s pretty klunky.)
