Yes yes I'm late to this I know but I just wanted to say how much I love this cover. Everytime I even see the name of this song it reminds me of the one and only time I sang on stage in front of an actual audience. It was a school show and at that time my anxiety was really hitting hard, so even thinking about me going up on stage singing to people was nerve racking but I still tried the audition and to my absolute surprise and joy I did make it! The song I used was, well, this one. I remember singing for hours trying to get the words right, and eventually I did! When the day of the show came I was even more anxious than usual because, well, obviously. But there was a nice older girl there who helped me through it, even when I first met them they gave me tips on how to forget I was even at a show pretty much (some which I still use today!) and I kind of wish I could go back in time to thank them since little me never did. Anyways I got way off topic but long story short your cover was probably one of the best I've ever heard of this song and it made me feel all nostalgic and stuff, so thank you :D Also, in case you were wondering that show was a competition and I didn't win, but I got a somewhat funny story out of it which consisted of how none of the staff prepared at all. They cut off the song right at the end not knowing there were more lyrics and I believe the day before the show (or the day OF the show) they didn't even have everyone practice on the stage before then. Like, ever. In the whole two to four weeks of prep they had. I still laugh when I think about how bad they did haha.
