M92 is the charging IC, BQ is the power delivery (from battery) and converting (15V to 4,2V) IC, Fuel Gauge only checks the charging state of the battery, Big MAX IC controls/checks everything (but has nothing to do with charging!) and divides the boot into 2 stages, only if everything is ok in fist stage it will give free some power lanes and kills some at 2nd stage boot. so u can really check/find (mostl) every fault only by viewing the amp draw at the battery port. But that's all very good described at "RetroSix"wiki, what I told u, u should have a look at minimum 5 times at the streams. I think a reflow or ran over with the iron on m92(what I didn't see at the vid) maybe would have done the trick

Well actually it is an AMP Meter, as the name infers from AM-Meter in which mean Ampere Meter, so really it should be referred to as an AM Device or Tester. But that really isn't what it should be called because it also shows the Voltage. Also I noticed you thought you had changed the BQ IC, however you didn't. you may still have a potential fix.

You don't really need it, removing it will slightly improve cooling. But if you want to put a new one on, standard copper tape from ebay or aliexpress will do fine

Go as low as you can bud. Take your time at around 380⁰C because these things are a bugger for popcorning if you're not careful

So.... I have fixed it. I now need to remove the parental controls. Any idea how to do this? I have seen a service on Ebay that supplies a master key. Is it a con?

Hi, I sent you a switch last year around February and haven't been able to reach you by email or the phone number on your website. You where moving around the time I sent it and I think you started the repair on one of your streams but I haven't gotten any word back on when it will be repaired. The switch could not connect to Wi-Fi and I sent a back plate with the console to replace. I'm only commenting here because I don't know any other method to contact you
