Has anyone ever come across a PS5 where the controller only works in safe mode. I've tried resetting the PlayStation I've tried different controllers. I fixed the HDMI port on this broken one and now I can't get past this part. Any help would be much appreciated

You didn´t see a cracked chip left side of the South Bridge.

I just rewatched the video and that looked like flux to me mate. Before I worked on it the clock chip looked clean. I see what you mean though. Unfortunately I can't check anyway though as this was from 29th January (just got around to editing it) and I ended up giving the customer a working board for £80 and used this one as a donor board so it's now just a random board in my pile lol
