⚡Rules for Button Holds⚡
Rule1 On Switch2#State=2 Do Power ON ENDON On Switch1#State=2 Do Power OFF ENDON
Rule2 On Switch2#State=4 Do Dimmer + ENDON On Switch1#State=4 Do Dimmer - ENDON
Don't forget to turn them on by issuing a "rule1 1" and "rule2 1" (no quotes)
I also use a "setoption32 12" for the hold time of 1.2 sec.

Hey Travis, Love following your videos. All my dimmers are controlled by a single momentary switch. I wish buttons could do the press and hold dimming that way I could still get all the double, triple, quad, etc actions out of them also.

I don't think there is a way to do all those actions but you can do the hold dimming and double and single press.

Not much explaining to it given it is the only one for dimming control. There is another like it but it is for inverted buttons and this one uses a regular one. It's a tough one to explain if I went off the docs so I tried to keep it quick as I was already running long but then this ended up as a standalone anyways. tasmota.github.io/docs/Buttons-and-Switches/#switchmode I just used the 2 and 4 states. KISS principle

Awesome! I just picked up on of those Linkind 2-button switches. Looks like they changed the screw types to get into it. What kind of torx is this? None of mine security bits fit.

It was a small torx from what I remember. I don't have the number off hand. I know people used small flat heads as well.

It's a T6 torx.

@@digiblurDIY Thank you gentlemen. Of course, I have T5 and T10 and nothing in between. These edges are so rounded that a flat blade won't turn it I don't want to strip these. Looking forward to making these work with my Zigbee cans in the ceiling.

Those are smart bulbs. 2 channel bulbs. Warm white and cool white.

Yes. As that's more of like analog lights. We like the smart bulbs due to doing color temps throughout the day.

You say your can't see the wpm flashes, but I feel I can when walking by it while not looking directly at it. What's going on?

With 'Linkind Switch as Dimmer' template, button led turns green/red etc with On and OFF command and with button press, changing GUI slider changes brightness of green led too, BUT load terminal does NOT see power i.e. no ON OFF or dimming. Looks like relay/PWM is not working. Switch works fine with 'Linkind Switch ESP32Solo WS240010008' template. Any idea why?

@@digiblurDIY Tried GPIO5 none, GPIO5 OUTPOUT HIGH (buldbstays on all the time), GPIO5 to OUTPUTLOW (bulb stays off all the time)

Yup, then that's it. Set GPIO 5 accordingly if you need the load high or low.

@@digiblurDIY Sorry, I did not make it clear. Setting GPIO5 to HIGH/LOW/None, does not change anything. Bulb/load terminal shows no change on OFF/ON/Dimming for any value in GPIO5 template.

Is this the switch? GPIO 5 should change the relay.
