I LOVE CREAMED CARROTS TOO!! I was raised on creamed carrots. They are an ooolllddd recipe, from my great grandma's days. You boil the carrots, when soft, drain, add enuf milk to your liking, and make a cream sauce by adding a corn starch slurry. Keep stirring. Let simmer on low for about 15 mins or more until hot and slightly bubbly. Keep stirring. Get sauce to medium to thick consistency, your preference. We add pepper to the sauce. When heated thru and thick to your liking, take off heat and enjoy. I'm 72 and still making them like my great grandma did. I love them. You can also do peas the same way 😊

Both look really good. I sprinkle mine with maple cinnamon sugar a little if times so there isn’t that much juice. I do a sweet potato that way also. The baked ones look really good too. Thanks for the ideas.

I love carrots raw or cooked🥕❤🥕 We go to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. My mother-in-law is an amazing cook!! Everything is delicious but there’s never sweet potatoes or carrots. They just don’t eat them (and we’re in the South…where’s the sweet potatoes🤣🤣🤣🤣! There’s always mashed potatoes, corn & green beans. My husband will eat a green bean or two if I fix them at home. He eats white potatoes & corn…that’s about it😵 But we’re all different…😁
