When you pointed out that your demeanour changed as this went on - I can’t tell you how glad I am that it did! The thought that Jubilee even did this in the first place is disappointing. THEN that someone professing to be a Christian denounced Christ is devastating. I felt sick to my stomach as the Jubilee video went on. I think Christians need to start taking things like this way more seriously. So many people (Christians and non-Christians alike) seem to take satanism really lightly and turn it into a bit of a joke - but it’s incredibly evil and dark. I personally don’t think it’s anything that we should be joking about. Sorry for the essay. There’s more I could say about it and why I feel so passionately about it, but that’s too much for a KZbin comment

Tbh a lot of like hauted/horror kinda videos have been popping up on my YT home page since like probably last month?? It was weird because I've never watched THAT kinda content before. I started watching it for fun/thrill and stuff and slowly I've kinda been exposed to like dark side of the world like political stuff, then big thing like GRAMMYS popped up and then THIS. And when you guys said in one of your previous videos that Satan has been trendy lately I've kinda resonated with that as well. Not sure that it was the best choice to do this video. As Christians, we obviously should evaluate the things of the world, but it's also important that we're careful about what we expose ourselves to. I think it's especially important because y'all have a large young (like middle and high school-age) audience who may get into watching these kinds of videos when they see you two doing it (even if it's from a Christian perspective). And we don't want harmful influences to impact us more than our Father in heaven :)

Yes, there are different sections of Satanism. And older and newer sectors of Satanism. I’m so confused as to why you think Satanism is bad or not normal. You admitted to never speaking to a Satanist, so how are you able to judge what you don’t know? Also, you’ve probably met more Satanists than you realize. No one who met me out on the street would ever guess I’m a Satanist. I don’t have any wild colored hair (although I think it rocks), I wear jeans and a T-shirt, unless I’m at work where I wear business casual. My makeup is very light, I speak with a bit of a Kentucky accent, and I’m able to discuss religion with a deep understanding because I was raised Catholic (not only did I go to a Catholic school and church several times a week, but my family was so traditional that several of my great-uncles and great-aunts are nuns and priests). I look and sound like every suburban, Midwestern, middle-aged woman. The fact that you say that you’ve never heard anyone leave the church and go to Satanism really speaks to the fact that you don’t bother to learn about Satanism. Most of us were raised in religious households. I think you should definitely speak to some of us before you demonize us. I think he would be surprised, maybe even pleasantly so.

The ignorance in this video and comment section is astounding and it really proves the point that people don’t know what Satanism actually is or means. Satanism lies within the morals and principles of humanitarianism. We don’t actually believe in Satan as a god or deity and the only reason we have Satanism modernly is because humanitarianism cannot stand alone as a religion. You have to have a god or multiple attached somehow for a set of beliefs to be categorized under religion. “One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.” - The Satanic Temple.
