Good luck! I’m a modern languages finalist at Warwick, the pressure is ridiculous! I’m just taking things one day at a time now. I feel like your exams are so different to ours, we don’t do grammar anymore, and all our essays on literature or anything are done as coursework. We just do exams on writing (like journalistic articles in the target language), translation and speaking now :) So it’s fascinating seeing the structure of other courses!

As a languages finalist at Durham I’ve accepted an offer for a graduate scheme at an investment management firm. Most of my languages student friends have also got onto prestigious grad schemes, so we’re actually more employable than you think 😂
