Back in January 2017, I was in the East Drain looking for jasper for my grandson. A lady came up to me and said, "you don't want to dig here. This is just washout.". I stayed, found a few diamonds (tiny). I moved on to another spot and then found the same woman in my East Drain spot......LOL! I must have found her favorite spot. I was there Very early. Found lots of great stones and about 3 yellow diamonds. I plan on going back again this January. It was cold, but with all the rain....I found a few topside diamonds too. I brought most of my gravel home to search. I wonder if I can have the diamonds registered when I return? I wrote the dates down. When I got there the first day, a man showed me a lovely diamond about 3mm elongated. I love watching you work. Keep up the great work.

I love your shows . Great finds ,I use to go to the creator of Diamonds in Arkansas until I got cancer, but all I can do now is watch you lucky guys that still get to appreciate your life and getting outside. I've been fighting this cancer since 2016 and with a lot of praying I'm still on top on the dirt. Lol. But I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to get back at it. But until then I'll be watching you guys. Your my kind of treasure hunter a very hard working man and that shows good character in someone. I wish you all the luck in the world. And I'll be watching for your next great finds good luck in all you do in life and don't ever stop searching for the adventures in life. And take care and be safe. I'll be commenting from time to time on your finds and I know you need all the viewers you can get and I like your setup. Talk to you later brother. 🙏👋🤠

It’s hard to get those done making videos. Back when the crater was open 12 hour days I could get 25-30 done. It was hard, but i did it many times. Sometimes it’s all about getting the right gravel, ive seen people wash 140 plus and no diamonds.

My question is, what do you do with the diamonds after you weigh/ register them? I think a video on the process of selling the diamond to a broker (or whatever entity it may be) would be good information, goes for precious stones too, all of this is fascinating. Nice finds Sir.
@canadiangemstones76364 жыл бұрын
You will not find anything suitable for selling. If you do not know what to do with a rough diamond, do not invest time or money into finding them.
@DJTheMetalheadMercenary4 жыл бұрын
@@canadiangemstones7636 I asked more for the benefit of those not familiar with the gem/ diamond industry-- if they're interested in it there should be more helpful information out there than there is currently, and should be encouraged/ supported, not dissuaded. DMI has also said some great specimens have been found at the crater of diamonds apart from ones he's filmed finding (of which some are still plenty suitable for finishing and sale). I personally know a few brokers and lapidaries who buy and cut/ shape and finish rough diamonds and gemstones of various size and quality-- if they know what they're doing and are good at such, they can make just about anything into something nice that a customer may want (even if it's I2 or SI2 clarity quality).
@ElektronT024 жыл бұрын
@@canadiangemstones7636 many gem quality diamonds have been found and sold from the Crater for thousands of dollars. Just recently a 9+ carat was found. Every year multiple 3+ carat gem quality diamonds are registered.
