In this video I give you a tour of the United Airlines Polaris Lounge at Houston Airport then cover the flight from Houston to London Heathrow, reviewing the food, aircraft and service overall. I had two disappointments during the flight.

I have been loyal to United for a long, long time and still are very pleased with everything they offer. We love the 787 for a number of reasons and I have visited the flight deck a few times as my neighbor is a Captain on the 787 doing SFO to SYD and some other routes. What a great aircraft. The seating setup looked amazing! I was supposed to fly United over to Frankfurt, but it got changed to a double decker Lufthansa plane. I sat Premium Economy which was much more cramped than your seating, but plenty of room for me. The food I had was really good, and looked much better than what you got served.

I was really surprised this time and overall the food on my other flights has been great. The seating setup is really great....feels like you have privacy and there is plenty of room for everything. Thanks for watching!

I've flown LH in economy A380 and the food was good and flight attendants provided great service.

I fly united a lot as I live in Denver and catering continues to be a major flaw of the airline. United has a fantastic seat and a great lounge but the catering needs to be improved. Great video Pat and I look forward to your next video!

Thank you for your video. Did you find the footwells to be big enough? Some people complain and say the bulkhead footwells are bigger. Would you choose that seat again? 7A?

Yes, the footwells were just fine as was the seat, however, I really like the two center seats at the very front of the plane for a number of reasons. In this case, we booked late and they were already gone. I really have no complaints about any of the seats in the Polaris Class though. Thanks for watching!

I normally have pretty good luck with them but that was not meant to be on this flight. The chorizo was so spicy it burned going down. The Spicy sobo buckwheat noodle salad was horrible beyond belief. Thanks for watching!

It was not edible at all....I could not believe it. It was called a Spicy sobo buckwheat noodle salad with fried lotus root. Who could dream up something like that and actually serve it. They need to stay a little more mainstream with food choices. Thanks for watching.

Food that spicy does NOT belong on a plane. There are too many people who cannot eat spicy food. They are trying to be fancy and it's falling flat. Just simple scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and a biscuit or real croissant; now THAT'S a good breakfast. Oh and some fresh fruit. And the appetizer was not even what is on the menu. What happened there. You do this every day...can't you ever get it right? Shame on UA for serving this slop. I flew UA to London quite a few years ago pre-covid. The food in BF was very good. They need to replace the people that dream up these fancy dishes that are not good. #UNITED

I actually like spicy chorizo but this was off the chart fire hot....and I could not agree more, keep the breakfast simple. That salad thing was pure garbage. Hopefully United has people watching these and will take these suggestions! ha ha... Thanks for watching!

You should see what they serve in economy!!! And they replaced the ice cream with a lousy Milk cookie!!

United sucks. Sorry. At least in economy. Most go out of their way to make sure you are aware you are in cattle class. At least the crews from Newark. TWA used to serve the same ice creal desert in First Class in the 1970s'.

I have to say, we have been very pleased with United having flown with them for the past 40 years. Sometimes you get a bump in the road with them like any other airline. The food on this one was not good but the rest was great. Anyway, thanks for watching!
