"I was WEARING pants yeah, just not exclusively!" 😂 OMG, these two are so great together. Almost makes me wish the Doctor could be the Doctor's companion. Although now that we've met Ruby in the Christmas special, I wouldn't have the upcoming season any other way! Sooo looking forward to it!!

Good behind the scenes video but man is that first part of title unfortunate. That or maybe I've just been on KZbin for too many years

Okay. I think I’ve got some decent backstory to explain this: Well, firstly: Didn’t Donna ask if The Doctor is like a worm when he regenerates? Lop off a limb and it grows into another Doctor-which happened in a crisis? A meta-crisis? So I think that a Time-Lord or Time-Lady would have had to be under some severe stress to bigenerate. More severe than anyone else had to face, since bigeneration is mythical in status. I also think Ten/Fourteen is just the odd Time-Lord out. None of the other Doctors had to regenerate limbs before, right? Or kept them? And Ten regenerated once and kept his own face, so technically he’s really Eleven and the numbering of Doctors is off. But never mind that. Maybe a Time-Lord or Time-Lady has to be primed to bigenerate by having the odd luck of needing to regenerate a limb or something while they’re newly regenerated and still have that regeneration energy to work off. That’s what starts it off. And then, maybe depending on what kind of physical stresses the Time-Lord/Time-Lady faces, they become more and more likely to bigenerate. Also: What if bigeneration is something that all Time-Lords/Time-Ladies face if the population runs severely low due to some sort of threat? In nature, there are animals that will switch genders to even things out. What if folks on Gallifrey can do something similar in terms of producing more people in a pinch by bigenerating?

also, if we count war doctor then Christopher Eccleston is actually 10th, David is 11th and 12th and Matt is 13th, that being the main focus of The Time of The Doctor, he's out of Regenerations, so Capaldi is 14th and Jodie being 15th, leaving David again being 16th and Ncuti as 17th the regeration numbering is off by two numbers

Too much thinking. Just lean in.

@@bryancourtois898 David isn't 11th and 12th he actually wasted the energy that wouldve been his 12th regeneration on his severed hand. So Matt's still 12 minus one regeneration that probably would've made him the 13th regeneration.

It's a nice idea, but I think that it took the regneration focus moment off of Ncuti, as David was always in the back of frame. Better to leave the old Doctor behind, and have the last act being the new Doctor at his most brilliant self! Old meets new in anniversary specials, the Two Doctors notwithstanding. A shame that Eleven and Twelve didn't show up in episode two!

It really felt wierd having the "brand new" Doctor and the current Doctor in the same scene. In "The Day of the Doctor" when 10th and 11th meet there was at least some time in between so that you could get adjusted to the new Doctor. But I liked it because as it´s most likely a time-loop thing before the 14th Doctor has to become the 15th Doctor they "Don´t have to go" and can take the break they really needed while their future-self is already going again.

@@93ChowoThere wasn't just "some time" in-between. Day of the Doctor was 11's second to last ever episode.

Nahhh, I think this is ok. RTD wanted two doctors to meet, to be able to talk about what was going on. The 14th was still grieving and they really needed someone to say that they understand and know. The talk with fake Donna in the 2nd special really showed that he needed to process the Flux and tragedy and loss with someone who cares and knows. And who knew better than the 15th. I think that is fantastic, that therapy and talking and just emotional loss is not just relegated to last on the priority list, not this time. Taking care of emotional needs is as important as physical needs like eating. The Special is about the 14th and 14th got a good closure and the 15th's story is still starting. Ncuti will have all the attention in the world then. He got a pretty juicy role tbh, like he got to solve the two TARDIS problem, and he got to be sassy to one of the most popular Doctors and play with the most gigantic TARDIS interior we had yet. And also we know he's got some titanic thighs and great physique thanks to the pantless situation. Tbh, he has the biggest banging entry out of a lot of Doctors to date. The first bi generation! Giant brand spanking new TARDIS! Taking down an old Nemesis that the 1st could not! Afrofuturistic sonic screw driver that breaks all previous designs! They're already bending over backwards to make him spectacular. And the best part is Ncuti is living up to expectations. Can't wait to see the stories, hope the writing is as great.

@@ginge641 Oh yes, that´s true. To be honest, I watched all the 11th Doctor episodes in a row after getting interested in Doctor Who and before the 12th Doctor era began so for me it didn´t feel that long.

It's easy to forget that the only multi-doctor thing RTD has done is the Children in Need special, and even then, it was written by Moffat. So this is actually the first RTD multi-doctor, and honestly... it kind of makes me think he misunderstands the entire concept. Multiple Doctors are always running around having adventures at the same time because there is no "present" for him. Time & Space is a blink away. Donna thinks 15 years have passed, but for the Doctor, it's been *centuries. So for this to be his "solution" to have multiple Doctors is head-scratcher, but one that seems on-brand given that he's never actually written a multi-doctor episode until now. It's unfortunate, but hey, if this is just a one-off thing, at least it can serve as headcanon for how The Curator came to exist.

1. That's NOT how a multiverse concept works like. 2. Have you Never, ever even heard of more than one version of the Doctor being together in scene before?
