Hello 😄 I am a new subscriber and happy to find your videos! I will be attempting both projects,so I am wrist deep in acrylic paints(instead of staining) Dollar Tree always seems to have some of the cutest miniature figurines that would be an adorable addition to the calendar,as well as some flat-backed gems,that I can’t seem to ever find the bottom of that container after years of using them in any craft that bling would add to,lol. Thank you so much!!! #GetLBLto100

Welcome! I'm so happy to have you here. Since making this video, I've actually created a separate crafting channel: LIMABEAN CRAFTING where you can find all of my crafting ideas. This channel won't be focusing as much on my DIYs, as it is more of an "all-things-mom" channel. However, if you like my other content, I would love for you to stick around :) I bet your crafts will turn out great!

How exactly do you put the calendar
@LimabeanLiving4 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure I understand your question. I just make sure the month and day-if-the-week blocks are correct and facing out and then I rotate the blocks to display whatever the day of the month it is 01, 02, ..., 30, 31
@sabrinadodson50214 жыл бұрын
@@LimabeanLiving I was meaning how do you put it together like step by step
@LimabeanLiving4 жыл бұрын
So you mean the frame part. Ok. Sorry - this was one of my first crafts on this channel so I didn’t explain it as well as I should have. First I glued three blocks together side by side a bunch of times (I think 24 squares total). From there you can create the pieces shown in the video - where you take the squares and glue them so one square’s blocks are vertical and the second square’s blocks are horizontal, etc. Using this method, I would build a 3x3 square (the vertical piece of the frame) and a 2x3 rectangle (the base of the frame). I would glue the 3x3 piece perpendicular to the center of the 2x3 piece. From there, you can glue on the shelves and pocket as displayed. I hope this helps. FYI - I’ve since created a separate channel for my crafts. Here’s one of my latest videos! kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGSnpKZ3e9KVea8

The only wood stain I’ve really ever used is the one I show in this video. Honestly, I don’t think Martha Stewart company makes it anymore. I’ve had a difficult time finding it at Michael’s.

What about the # 9? Which block should it go on?
@LimabeanLiving4 жыл бұрын
The 6 acts as both the 6 and the 9. If you put both a 6 and a 9, you won’t be able to make the numbers 01, 02, ..., 31. Hope this makes sense! Btw, I’m putting most of my craft videos on our new crafting channel, Limabean Crafting. So if you subscribed just for the crafts, I encourage you to head on over to that channel. Hello! How did you put the calendar together? You didn't show how to put the calendar together.
@LimabeanLiving3 жыл бұрын
I know, I’m so sorry. This was one of my first craft videos on this channel - so I wasn’t too experienced with the filming/editing. Sorry! I attached the pieces with hot glue - but you could use wood glue too. I would start just gluing three pieces together at a time and then glue the sets of three together to form the pieces I mentioned.
