Two Easy "High Buns" | Apostolic Hair Tutorial

Hey, ladies! Here are two of my super quick go-to/easy top buns for everyday wear or when I'm running late for church. Thanks for watching!

I do not own any music presented in this video.
I've had several people ask me to make a video showing how I do my most common updos for church services, going out, etc. So I decided to finally make one! Keep in mind, I've had friends and acquaintances show me many ways to do my hair so I did not come up with these styles.
And yes, that first clip was on purpose!

I went many years without being conscious of God until He showed me His existence and now I can never doubt it. He is real to me and His name is Jesus. There is only one God. He is powerful! ♡ He saved me in so many ways when I didn't know nor did I care that I wasn't saved.

Miss ma'am you are precious beyond words. I wish more of our youth were like you. Morals, sweet spirit, great energy, virtuous, modest, soft spoken, respectful, and kind. I agree with the other person who said you are a rarity, because you truly are sweetheart. I am not a Christian but like other women here, I knew when I saw you were Apostolic you'd know what's up with long, thick hair. Other girls on YT as nice as they are and as beautiful as their hair is, they think they have long thick hair and they don't! Mine is down to the small of my back and as thick as yours and I have no idea how to mess with it sometimes. So your video tutorial truly helped me. Not only did you help me but I smiled the whole time I watched you. Thank you for giving me faith in humanity again. You truly blessed me with your video in ways you couldn't know. It's neet how people take forever to do prom updos and weddings bit Pentecostal girls can make hair look amazing in not very long of time and i love the neet ways they do half ponytails abd turn them intk curls and braids into curly looking updos it's just so peaceful and beautiful

Super cute! My hair is long and I have lot's of it but it is fine. So even though my hair is past my rear, I have to do something to make it have body such as sleep with it wet or roll it , maybe dampen a braid and let it dry. Great job!

Some kind of texture spray or spray wax (held far away from the head when you spray) can help give you some texture and grit to your hair and add some thickness. Also you can section the pieces and rough tease them, then lightly comb over the part that will show to hide that rough tease so it smoothes it out. There's thickening powder you can use too on your scalp. I had thin hair for a real long time due to diabetes going undiagnosed and it made my hormones a mess. Also, if it's not just naturally thin you may want to go get some bloodwork done and have them check thyroid levels (t3 and t4 and tsh) and trace mineral and vitamin levels. Low vitamin C and D can cause hair to fall out, and most people have low vitamin D in the winter time or if they don't get outside much. I'm sure you're gorgeous and your hair is lovely. I hope my insight helps you!

going to church today I was born and raised Jesus name Penecostal old time religion and I tried both of these hairstyles and my hair is very long but I couldn’t get either one of these😞 I did pick something similar to the second hairstyle but you need a lot oof hair for these two styles and my hair is long but not super thick. You are blessed to have that much hair.

It looks beautiful. I’m not UPC anymore but I’m still Oneness. My hair right now is right above my bottom and uncut/untrimmed but by choice. :) not to mean I didn’t have a choice before I did I just felt pressure to submit to the standards even though my grandparents who raised me were independent Apostolic and didn’t have a dress code to adhere to. They taught to allow the Holy Spirit to lead in those matters once they are adults moved out of the home especially.

C in Texas some of it is based on our own convictions after receiving the Holy Ghost. Also the rules for your specific church. I am apostolic and there are ladies in our church with subtle nails like French tips and nude colors. Nothing distracting or severely unnatural. The Bible says In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array. 1timothy2:9 Modesty-the quality of being relatively moderate, limited, or small in amount, rate, or level also behavior, manner, or appearance intended to avoid impropriety or indecency. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew‬5:5‬ Meek- obedient, teachable, humble This means don’t be flashy and overdone. God does not call us to turn every head when we walk into a room. That means with anything. Clothes, shoes, handbags. You don’t have to wear a paper bag lol or ugly mismatched things it just means where is your heart. What are you representing? Is it holiness, meekness and righteousness? If it is then you’ll know in your heart what is acceptable as long as you stay in the word of God.
