pro-tip! : When you are doing your finishing sprays to smooth down the flyaways, gently use the side of the hairspray can to lightly smooth over the area you just misted. Sprayed hair that is still tacky doesn't stick to the can as it often does when using your hand. And if you have a lot of loose baby hairs around your hairline, you can smooth those down by using a toothbrush (new) with a quick drying hair gel on the bristles or after you have saturated the baby hairs with hairspray (do in sections, so the spray doesnt dry before youre able to smooth down the hair. Also: get a plain, cheapo, basic toothbrush--no rubber bits, no fancy bristles. Just a good ol soft bristle toothbrush).

Anyone ever tell you that you look like Megan Followes (Ann if Green Gables)? :) beautiful hair, you've got a lot of "glory". Mine is that long too but older...I'm in my late 40's so more split ends, thinner ends, etc. not too glorious LOOKING as it used to be but I hope the eyes that matter most sees it as beautiful.

Sarai Cortez use coconut oil (big lots)and Jamaican castor oil (sally beauty) hair completely covered, over night wrapped in a scarf or bonnet. 2x per week while massaging your scalp! Don’t do them at the same time. Pick Monday and Wednesday to do it. It’s the easiest schedule. When using both. When you wake up rinse thoroughly twice with conditioner. Once with shampoo(let sit for 2-3 min to get the oils from the product out) rinse and recondition(2-5min sitting in your hair).....it’s a process but you’ll notice your hair is silky and doesn’t get as oily as fast and will promote new hair growth and you’ll notice a growth spurt. Oh and pray about it as well. God knows it’s your glory so if you ask he strengthen it and do those things I’m sure he’ll help with the rest 😁

I love how.pentecostal women dont cut their hair and try to.make it as big and as thick as possible while insisting that men keep their hair short. I remember my friend marissa was Pentecostal never cut her fair ever always wore it down or in a huge bun, one time at school, the student council wa going around with a camera and getting g people to whip their hair back and forth, they came up to her and I and I had just got a haircut , and surprisingly she did a bun drop and let her 5 and half feel of thick long hair fly everywhere and afterwards she was like I love my hair ,I'm.so glad I dont have to get it cut like you do.

Very beautiful, just one thing, I wouldn’t rat my hair, I was told and I believe it, it will eventually make ur hair fall out later on in life, ur way too young, there are products u can buy and spray a lot of extra volume into ur hair in the roots for long hair too. Just want to give u word of advice they gave me over almost 30 years ago. U don’t want to lose ur hair in ur 40’s. Other than that keep doing everything else the same, ur hair is beautiful and so are u!!

Wanda Wilson, I owned salons, and did hair for decades. Backcombing hair won't make it fall out. If the backcombing isn't brushed out correctly, the hair can break or be pulled out, but there are steps to take to avoid the breakage. Wearing tight, elastic bands in the same spot over and over on ponytails will certainly break the hair due to constant tension and the hair getting caught in the microscopic spilts in the rubber band. That's why a soft coating on bands is recommended.

Susan Capo this religious tells women to have long hair not short hair, men only can have short hair. Also women must not wear pants only shirts, dresses and jumpers that are pass your knees. Men only should where long pants and long shorts. Also women and men should not wear lots of jewelry just a cross necklace, dove neckless or a heart neckless and only wear rings for courting, and your wedding rings. Plus only women wear earring no dangling ones. And very natural color makeup only. Clear or very light color fingernail polish This religion try to make men be men and women be women and wear what is right in God's eyes.

The religion doesn’t tell Apostolic to do anything... it’s the Bible that tells you. Now it’s up to the person... anyone to choose to live by the Bible or not. Can’t pick and choose scripture... The Bible says that women need to dress with modest apparel. Men wear men clothes .. woman wear woman clothes. What I don’t understand that ppl make such a big deal of is dresses , skirts .. long hair all that has been around for centuries.. but they think we are a cult if we wear it now...lol ... I see business ppl wear dresses all the time. Now are we gonna show are booties or breast in them... no.. Mass.Shadows it has to do with a common practice held by women who identify with Apostolic/Pentecostal faith, which is to have uncut hair. Often, this results in longer than usual hair, which then results in tutorials. The scriptures behind this practice can be found in 1 Corinthians chapter 11. I hope this answers your question! Also, I know this because I happen to be of this faith.

Just a comment on "apostolic" hair upkeep. When anyone (or religion) embraces a lifestyle choice that takes up as much time as these hairstyles require, you are getting into the arena of making an "idol" in your life for your hair. An idol can be anything or an idea which takes preeminence in your life. In this instance, the hair length is taken as a symbol of inward spirituality and that is not necessarily the case. In the time of Jesus the pharisee's adored adorning their robes with elaborate woven symbols that were supposed to denote their devotion to Jehovah; in reality they were inwardly ravening wolves and vipers which Jesus plainly pointed out to them.
