At today’s rates 60,000 is $1689 USA. I almost spit my coffee across the table. Minimum wage in Thailand is just over ฿350 a day that works out to be about $310 a month. That’s the max I would give any woman over there to have a full-time relationship. And you will find one that will take it and be with you full-time. I would prefer she starts her own business. And if things got serious, I would help her. Two things I will never do in Thailand, and that’s getting married and buy somebody land or a house. That’s always when everything goes south. Every time I hear a horror story about Thailand or the Philippines. It’s after the boyfriend buys a house. They eventually get kicked to the curb.
