21:15 - Those were the "animal pens" where they kept small animals and also some rattlesnakes. Not sure where the mountain lions were kept but there were some. Thanks for the great aerial video of Two Guns. I've been there maybe 10 times and now have a better feel for the whole area!

Twin Arrows Casino needs to STEP UP and take over the care of their "namesake" historic structure across I-40! They should totally reconstruct the Twin Arrows out of steel or some really solid wood and keep them painted and taken care of. It's a shame to see the "broken" arrow laying on the ground and in fact...I believe last time I was by there (Jan 2022) it had been removed...
@janeforever2 жыл бұрын
We'll miss the twin arrows when we head home to families in TX from CA. They were always a landmark for us. Didn't know about 2Guns but thanks to you we'll put it on our Rt 66 trips when we head W back to CA. Tkx for the heads up. BTW would be great if the casino would preserve the twin arrows so they'd both be standing side by side once again.🎰

The Interstate has killed many businesses, even entire towns. From your videos, I keep learning a lot about places I never visited like "Broken Arrow" or "Two Guns". On I-40, I stopped at the "Jackrabbit" Indian Trading Post. You can reach this store only from one-side of the Interstate, not accessible if you drive Westward. Next set of ruins to come, I guess. Meteor Crater was one of the landmarks I liked the most, along with "Homolovi State Park" (North of I-40) where there is a marvelous campground a few miles west of Petrified Forest Nat'l Park (Petrified Forest is a day-use area only, you can't spend the night in this Nat'l Park). Yellowstone has been ravaged by tremendous floods and will remain partially closed this summer ! Nice video as always Russ ! RICHARD

Russ Harry Miller used and embellished the story of apache death cave to lure tourists to his attraction that he originally named the mystery cave. That story has been embellished and perpetuated as fact for many years.easy to Google and so many don't check before telling it again as truth, there are loads of KZbin videos telling this story as history. I married into an apache family so I was interested in searching this story long ago. Always watch you and wish you safe travels❤
