Show Low! Haven't seen that town in awhile! When I stayed down in St. John's I would get home sick for Minnesota because I missed the smell of the pine trees. Glad you stopped in to the car show. Those are always fun. Stay safe out there and keep the videos comin'! 👋 😉

Howdy Russ, wish I could have told you to go to the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center around Forest Service road 171. Turn and go north to Woods Canyon lakes and follow that road to the west,it’s paved then turns to gravel. There are camp sites right along the rim overlooking the valley below. Maybe you stopped there after posting this video but man you would have had one of the best views and camp spot in Arizona. Thanks for stopping in Heber Overgaard car show. That town park has a lot of good events and live bands during the summer. Had friends there where we parked our motor home the last couple years.

Had I known we could boondock along Service Roads during my traveling years, it would have saved me a lot of stress looking for a safe place to spend the night ... SIGH ! Arizona sure offers varied landscapes. I visited the White Mountains only once in the 1980's. I remember a place called "Hannagan's Meadow" that I found particularly beautiful. Superb video ! RICHARD

Hey Russ! Great video! The car show was a nice surprise. I enjoy watching your travels and love the simple setup to your van. I retire in 2 years and plan to buy a van that I can transform into my campervan. I have a minivan that I camp out of now but standing up in the van would be great. Thank you for showing us your setup, so helpful. Safe travels!

I absolutely love the bumper music on your channel. Especially the intro one. I am going to buy that tune and play it every time I start a road trip. Thank you Russ for all you do. All of those RV parks (non-boondock) you have showed me show the electric hookups and bathroom/shower facilities. The Tesla I just purchased has a "Camping" setting which keeps the car's cabin at a set temperature. Although it only sleeps 2, I have enough room for my wife and and everything I need for road trips. I even obtained the NEMA TT-30P adapter for the common 220 volt hookups at most campgrounds. It'll charge my EV during the night for my next RVrTV recommended A1 quality trips. Thanks to your, you did most of my planning and the fun is left to me and my Senior lifetime US pass.

Mogollon Rim-I’ve been there. Area where last Indians fled to from U.S. army that gunned down most in a cave shootout. Also area where longest feud between 2 ranch groups in U.S. history. It’s a nice place today, but has a violent history. I like the stories behind the places better than the places themselves. I put a lot on KZbin-you’ll find them with my name & search words like Arizona, Texas, etc. I also think your videos are a unique & refreshing perspective. Keep a rollin’.

Hi Russ. A couple questions; What's the altitude at your location? Any tips on adjusting to higher altitudes (for sea level East Coast folks)? How do you charge your house batteries AND your Bluetti (do you use a different set of solar panels for each)? If you're using the same panels, how do you switch from each battery bank? Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

I know Arizona and Imperial County/Sonoran Desert heat. As a young person I drove tractors and Caterpillars in Imperial County 6 am to 6 P.M., Monday through Saturday. Pay 11& 1/2 hours a day, six days a week … take home about $250.00 a week. No AC on the Cat and KAMP am radio would give us the current temps…. 120 was common. The high that I recall being broadcast was 127. Global warming…. Ha…. Ha. Ha…
