yea... i think the most they were "hoping" for was : that nobody would break their other legs, or be mean to them, and maybe a spare French fry or two? They really hit "the💰jackpot" being found by these 🥰 two, tho. If this was L.A.🌴 (*I think it was?) Where i live as well, we have massive amounts of stray dogs, so, they are very fortunate ♡ indeed! 💗 ☺

He could have gotten hit by a car. To me the worse, more heartbreaking crime continually seen on this channel is apathy. Like the black lab living under the shipping yard for 8 yrs a couple videos back, these dogs clearly have been wandering neighborhoods for a LonG-a*s time. How people put their eyes on a limping dog with no leg & then close those eyes & sleep at night having done NOTHING, I honestly don't know. To see the dogs once wandering around is one thing. To see this little pair in the neighborhood once, twice, THREE times & do nothing - is totally beyond comprehension. (Deep Breathe) They are saved now... and on to beautiful lives. God Bless Eldad & Loretta, once again. ❤️ Happy to donate.

While I agree that people need to do more, but it seems that the area has a lot of strays. First, I do want to say that I am sure no one in the area realized the extent of the 1's injuries. They probably just thought it had been surgically amputated at some point. They were probably worried that they'd be euthanized if they called animal control. If anyone tried catching them already, I am sure they believed they were bite risks, which would increase their chances of being euthanized. Some people would rather just try to feed them the best they can than send them to their immediate death. As well, a lot of animal control agencies are slammed and cannot spend the time that Hope for Paws can trying to catch these dogs. Next, a lot of rescues are probably full. I have seen many videos on this channel where the person has stated that they called several rescues to no avail. People outside of HFP's area call them as well because they cannot find a rescue that can. I live in a less populated area, and even our many rescues stay pretty full and it can take a lot calls being made to all the rescues and fosters before finding someone to take an animal. I am in a FB group that is filled with these rescues, fosters, and people who can help so they can get word out pretty fast, but most people around here have no clue that such a group even exists so they can't reach as many people. As someone who has found many lost and abandoned dogs, it is difficult to find someone to take an animal. Our animal control shelter is no kill, so we're lucky with that, but they can only do so much to catch an animal before they have to move on. I have borrowed live traps to trap dogs that animal control couldn't catch. I can't keep a dog I find so in these situations and a lot of people are suffering financial, especially right now, so a lot of people can't take in another mouth to feed and vet.

This is one of the best international rescue teams I've watched. They genuinely do everything from beginning to end with gentleness, care and speed which is what these pets need after all the inhuman trauma they have been subjected to.

You guys, a cat ran in front of my car and I trampled him to death a week ago. Words cannot describe the devastation and heart break I feel. I'm a community cat mom to about 7 cats ( they live very well) and I have my own 4 senior cats which makes it even harder for me. He just darted in front of me and it was at night, I just didn't see him in time......... My only solace is I am sure he died instantly. THANK YOU for what you guys do to help these babies off the streets. You are my only monthly donation right now.

Hello Squishy Bear. I am so sorry you had this terrible experience. There are so many animals out there who get scared by noises, they run into traffic, and get hurt or die. It's better to die like this instantly than to suffer a terrible injury. I find comfort in that it was quick and I thank you for giving life to so many other cats in your community, and for helping us save many more lives. 💖

Squishy Bear, I know how you feel. Over 20 years ago, I hit a dog driving home one night in the city. From out of no where it ran in front of my car. I was very lucky it didn't even get injured. But, I felt terrible afterwards. The owners were nice and said he had bolted from their house.
