Even right after the Cell saga, he had like 8 years to wish Goku back to life for a fight. Like many things in DBZ, the rivalry between those two is just something overhyped by the fans.

Dude was literally trying not to fight him at 100% cause he knew what it would do to Vegeta especially because he was still alive and had other things to keep his mind on. At no point in those two arcs were they on the same level except maybe before Goku went into the time chamber right after Vegeta and trunks came out.

They can do a character duel tournament where they select 5 characters one from each series and play their decks they are allowed to optimize/upgrade one deck of any character but they are not allowed to tell each other which one they upgraded/optimized

I get why they duel on master duel, but they would have much better duels with more freedom on project Ignis - EDOPro. They can change LP, set unique rules, use cards as they were in the anime, also wouldn't cost them money to get cards.
