2010. Man, you were young, Robin. Lol. I’ve been marathoning your channel for the second time. Boxed Angel Food cake is one of my weirdest guilty pleasures. 1. I eat the mix right out of the box. 2. I have made the cake, taken the box to the dumpster to hide the evidence, and balled up the whole cake and eaten it. Squashed Angel food cake is awesome. 3. For all Baptism and Confirmation events I make an Angel Food cake AND a Devils Food cake. Everyone gets the humor. 4. I still love the Confetti Angel Food cake best of all and have it every year for my birthday. Every year. 5. Right now I’m going to make this one because of course I have these ingredients in my cupboard. Thanks!! Xojennyinseattle

Hilarious! I have never eaten the mix right out of the box (and I will try it), but I have been known to bunch it up in a ball, dip it in melted chocolate and eat it when no one is watching.

Hi Ms Benzle! Love this recipe! My angel food mix is not a one step mix, could I divide the batter up between 2 loaf pans? Would using parchment paper help in removing it from the pan? Or just go out and buy a one-step mix? I'm cleaning out my pantry and looking to use up the cake mix! Also my angel food cake pan needs replacing and I sure like the idea of using a 13 by 9 inch pan!
