@@xXErr4rXxit’s only slept on by people who’ve p ranked the game and can already easily kill every boss. the screwdriver is more of a beginner crutch for until you can master the boss you’re fighting, because after that the electric and malicious railcannon just do a better job in other situations. it’s still a fine weapon though tbh, especially for new players.

If anyone wonders, punching the screwdrive will not cause any extra damage, it will leave the enemy with the same amount of hp as if you let the screw stay until expiring

This used to be true! In the most recent update it actually makes the screw deal the rest of the damage that it would have as if it had stayed for its duration when you parry it!

It got buffed with the Violent Night update. You could always punch it between enemies indefinitely, but recently it was buffed so that when you punch it out of an enemy, it instantly deals the rest of the total damage the screwdriver would have dealt if you just left it in.

The issue is that the screwdriver then falls into a really niche use that just spamming could fulfill better, screwdriver needs a damage buff.

It has a couple uses: Healing Stopping Mindflayers from teleporting, and now special combos (actually comboed a couple times too)

@@hyperx72 Yeah aside from mindflayers though, special combos is niche and the devastation the other two rails can cause usually kills most enemies easily so healing is less of a factor

I love the screwdriver but it needs a style buff. If it shows up on your list of techniques and gives you style points then like 80% of the any% diarrhea blind one-handed run dudes would use it.
