There are areas around us with that kind of visibility. The farms in this video are not flat at all compared to the surroundings. With wide open spaces, at least you will know what is about to hit ya!

Love the videos! The explanations of the business side of farming is SO interesting! When we used to go to my grandmother’s house in Rantoul, we would stop in either Effinghan or Mattoon at the A&W for frosted mug root beers. It rocked! Thx for all you do for this country!!

Did you see yield loss from the scorching incident?
@aTrippyFarmer2 жыл бұрын
I didn't have a good comparison from either of these fields. They were both affected. I believe that we harvest another field nearby tomorrow, and it yields about 25 bushels per acre higher. I would say that there is yield loss, but it isn't to the tune of 25 bushels. I'd say 5-10 bushel loss.

Question, on your scale system for the grain cart, are they a sponsor, was it given to you? Another u tuber who is constantly complaining about his system was informed of how pleased you are with your scale, His reply was that you were given that system & basically not to trust everything you hear. He was not slamming you just the info about the grain cart scale. I look forward to your u tube videos - You know I love to watch farming!
@aTrippyFarmer2 жыл бұрын
It was given to me to try, but it was nothing more than that. I wouldn't recommend it if I didn't enjoy it myself, and there are certainly other viable alternatives of similar methodology. If they paid me, I am technically required to state that in the video.
