Two Laps of Shimoda Supercross

Honda HRC's Jo Shimoda had a slow start in the Anaheim One main event and worked up to fourth, but that was hardly what the rider from Japan is capable of on his new CRF250R. We logged this footage several weeks ago but were asked to hold it because Shimoda was actually trying out the new Fox Speed Suit for the first time and it was under embargo until the season opener.

Jo is so smooth, downsided all the rythms and jumps perfectly, the rear wheel rarely got hanged up on the transition

Disagreed. That is a super peaky technical track that's wet. He is riding smooth like a 450 rider and not pushing at all or making any mistakes. We shall let the results show us but I think he's gonna be a top 3 all season 🏁🏆🤙🏻
