The way Oscar completely trusts her and the animals trust her is the highest of confirmation of the high standard of her humanity and heart. Small children and animals are never wrong ❤

How right you are! Loved the line up of smiling "characters", (9:15) equipped with their tools and off to the forest. With the dogs right behind them! A lovely vlog amongst all the turmoil in the world only spoilt by a Vote Labour in the middle. Not your fault. Lovely seeing Duxford I only live about 40 miles away and is a great place to visit and surrounding countryside. The UK also has pretty open countryside. 🍷🍷🇬🇧🇬🇧

Cow shoes. Used to evade police etc. moonshiners, hide from prohibition against, drive cows to market, human and animals wore them and they would not know if they were cows or human wearing them in their shoes. Turkeys wore shoes/boots. They were driven to market for 2-3 months for Christmas along the roads and turkeys legs are fragile so it helped. I googled both … over the years or I google lots if someone says something and I don’t know if I should believe it.

Cow shoes....cows can get horrible abscesses in their hoofs. Quiet painful. The farmer (or whomever) had to scrape the hoof down to the abscess, clean it, and wrap it. To help with the healing, they would add a plate or a hoof lift. Nowadays they glue a silicone or rubber lift to the hoof, wrap it, and send the cow on its way. This helps the cows to walk during recovery. After awhile the dressing comes off and glue on the "prosthetic" will wear off when the new hoof grows out. Kinda like acrylic nails ladies wear. Back in the day, they did not have the silicone/rubber or the glue, rather they had a plate they put on the cow to heal the hoof.

I know that a cow shoe is not a great archeological or valuable find. But I think it's great. I also had never heard of them before. Are they still used? Finding something unusual and unknown and then finding the answer is a great lesson for the kids and adults too. And shows a good use of Google. I also enjoyed the group heading out to find more treasures. I wish I were there too.

If anyone is in interested in air shows , there’s a brilliant one in Eastbourne usually around August. The airplanes fly over the seafront and often the Red Arrows participate. All my best wishes to our veterans and their families and ❤️❤️to the fallen , thanking them for their sacrifice.😘

OH WOW... what a fantastic day in 2 different countries! Excellent day at the air show, Toby literally on cloud nine 🤯 awesome video, & a trip out metal detecting the magical Moon landscape... both are really neat adventures. Cow shoes... who knew?
