We had reflective tape when I was in the Navy, I still have a partial roll left. That would work nicely.

How do you make the traffic pylons?

Have you thought about going one step further and actually using reflective tape? One roll of it would probably last you a lifetime! Then you don't even have to spray the tape, and it'll shine like an actual cone in photos :)

Greggles I have, but I tend to focus on tools and materials folks already have sitting around. I actually have white electrical tape that I use most of the time, as it's pretty reflective.

Secret Weapon Miniatures Excellent point. How does the tape take to weathering? Do you concentrate on the cone, or just tear the pieces of tape up a bit?

Greggles I've only actually done pigment weathering on these. I tend to keep them reasonably clean, as even the ones I see around town aren't too beat up. They have to be at least nominally maintained. Of course if I were going to do an abandoned city scene... yeah, I'd probably tear up the tape, and do a LOT more pigment work. I'd also make sure it was NOT reflective.

Secret Weapon Miniatures Awesome! Thanks so much as always! Haha I just imagined you walking up to pylons and checking their wear...my gf has gotten used to me taking photos of rusting walls and damaged equipment. Just part of the passion!

Greggles These days my wife will often take those photos for me, because she's gotten to have such a good eye for what I'd want to add to my reference collection.
