I have been a big superbike fan and have always loved the MV Agusta look. I am fortunate enough to own a 2016 and a 2017 800 F3 RC. The 2017 is stock and the 2016 has about $15k in upgrades to make it a better handling bike. Each year, MV Agusta produces 300 total 800 F3 RC bikes and imports only 25 bikes to the United States. My favorite paint scheme for these RC is the Red, White and Green. The 2018 if you can find them are really cool because they come with red rims with this color scheme. This color scheme is in the most demand and tends to hold value better because of the demand.
Since I raced GSX-R1000s and CBRs years ago, I look forward to taking the 2016 on the track. Though this is not a purpose built track bike, I have been told by other owner's they feel the street legal RC is as close to their race bikes as you will come with a street legal bike. The bikes also have the original tires so those will be getting replaced once I am able to ride the bikes again. These bikes are a pain taking off the bodywork unlike the race bikes. The 2017 800 F3 RC comes stock with auto-blip downshifts, something the 2016 is missing from the factory. This 2016 has the slip on exhaust, lots of carbon fiber bits, brake cooling ducts, free-floating front disc brakes, Ohlins fork internals and rear suspension, Ohlins steering damper, frame sliders, case savers, and so much more.
