I hate how at the end of the spitting episode Thomas goes "It's okay Melanie! Remember that spitting makes people feel bad =D" as if she spat on him INTENTIONALLY. It was clearly an accident! She just sneezed on you and forgot to cover her mouth. If anything that's more of a "Cover your mouth" moral as opposed to a "Spitting moral".

I dont think the older boy did anything wrong in front of Thomas. To me he probably had flem in his throat. Saying that spitting is a bad thing is a wrong thing to teach kids. They might then hold in their mucus. They could’ve said don’t spit on someone or don’t spit inside.
