Jin doesn’t have the softest voice in BTS. He has the most vocal range in BTS. There’s a reason he is the only member who is consistently known as the Silver Vocalist in BTS by music critics.

Jin can switch from chest to mix to head and falsetto so smoothly you really have to listen to hear the switch. He is a vocal athlete for sure. He has the largest range,( almost 3 octaves), but not the highest, although close to Jimin, Jimin has a head voice range that is well, unique. In fact Jk said; the reason why you have to pitch shift our songs at Karaoke is all Jimin and Jin to blame. ( paraphrased). LOL.

One of the most beautiful bonds to come from bts is when coldplay and jin linked up. Jin has been endeared with the band since he was a child and in turn coldplay has fallen for him, its so amazing to see Chris martin and Jin be bff's like there are so many cute videos- my fave being when Chris just without hesitation gave Jin his favorite guitar and then of course coldplay mentioned jin (and bts) in almost every interview with such love and respect, chris even did some back vocals in jins song as well as his chris's son moses, like the trust they have and the bond they have is so insanely cute. And when Jin performed with them right before his enlistment it brought so many people to tears like it was one of the most beautiful performances ive ever seen. And in coldplays latest tour they carried jins gift (wootteo) with them everywhere and its so sweet to see theyre also waiting for jin to return. amazing bond!!

Jin arguably has the best live vocals of all of the BTS members. He's incredibly stable and athletic, so he can belt out vocals at just about any time. He doesn't get the most positive reviews from vocal critics for no reason. P.S. Athletic wise, Jin snowboards, scateboards, swims, dives, kite boards, etc. If he lived in the U.S., he'd basically be a Cali boy who snowboards during the weekends. 💜

You are right, Jin suffered and it was very difficult for him at the beginning of BTS, learning to sing and dance was very complicated and he felt inferior to his other classmates, listen and read the lyrics of Awake, it broke me when I read it, I am proud of the incredible artist that he became based on his natural talent, discipline and mental strength. I consider that Jin, although he is always joking to make his BTS brothers laugh, is an emotionally intelligent person, who has been a basis of strength for BTS and for the leader RM.

I think every BTS member has their own insecurities but people like to focus mostly on Jin’s because he is always open and being honest about his concerns. I think he is actually the bravest in the group as he is not afraid of showing his insecurities to the whole world. As for his vocals, he seems to have the softest voice, it’s because his falsetto is very clean and beautiful, and at the same time, he is also the power house of the group-the amazing belter.

I agree with all those facets of Jin that you mentioned but don't forget Jin is also the best comedian. I think he is behind a lot of the crazy fun behaviour that Army loves also comes with loving BTS. Now in the military he has risen ahead of his fellow recruits. I love the view of him running in the Astronaut, they asked him to run in time with the music. It indeed is a miracle that the discovery of Jin was a success, like winning a lottery as mentioned in your discussions. Happy fate & destiny. Divine providence. If you remember his story, he was actually scouted on the streets twice. The first time was, as a boy, by SM Entertainment but he turned that down, thinking it was a scam. That would be one of his first fates on his journey to getting to BTS, in not accepting SM. His second scouting was years later, as a college student, by a BigHit employee & this time Jin accepted. There was some shenanigans there by BH though, heh. The fact that Jin could sing like he sings now is also part of that fate. Imagine if BigHit scouted him & they ultimately found that Jin had Amusia, basically tone deafness & singing off key. That would not have worked for BigHit, because no matter how hard he would try, amusia would keep Jin from being at the level he is at now or not at all. He could have been booted or moved to a different employment, like perhaps working behind-the-scenes, i.e. the other BTS. Plus, Jin is known not to be good at rapping, except maybe when he gets mad, heh. All this happened in his late teens & it worked out well. Most children are started by around age 5 to start a new skill or talent by their parents, hoping the education early at this age would give them a good headstart, including making future income from that headstart. That includes kids learning very young at ballet, martial arts, little league, piano, swimming, computers, etc. This did not happen to Jin when it came to the skillset of a musician as he never learned those when he was younger. But he was able to use his education & skills in acting that he was learning in college in BTS for their music videos, tv commercials & such, so at least that experience & tuition fees did not go to waste. All 7 guys will now just add real military experience to their résumé, because as we all know, the band BTS is a military theme & concept from its very start. They are now coming back full circle to their band concept & band name.

Jin was on a reality show and they got him so drunk on 45% alcohol. He said he might be a star but it's been a disaster for his personal life. He was hilarious on the show. The host disapeared at the end, it was suggested asleep on the bathroom floor. Completely drunk Jin moves to her chair and responsibly does the sign off. He's completely proffessional, even off his head.

I always say that trying to pick out a BTS member's talent as being "less important" or "the weakes" is a silly thing that people do because it would be like trying to decide that about any instrument in an orchestra. The beauty of the orchestra is how each part contributes to the overall sound. Nitpicking the best or worst instrument is a pointless thing to do just like with BTS. Personally Jin's voice suits my tastes the most but to me it doesn't mean anything negative about the other vocalists.

A Jin reaction... I'm down. That's what sells, really? I must disagree based on how popular BTS is alone. How many singers or bands have thousands of fans calling radio stations and begging them to play BTS song? or sending flowers or treats along with the physical albums to those stations/ I think there are many lost, lonely good humans who have used BTS light to find each other. Just look at their fan base numbers, how diverse ARMY is, and how new reactors, like yourselves, are totally blown away when they hear them the first time. They experience burnout end of 2017-beging of 2018. Hence Jin's and J-Hope's speech at 2018 awards. and on Suga's talk show, JIn speaks about this. also Super Tuna is a lucky fishing song. He and a producer wrote it together on a fishing trip. You should watch the beyond the scenes Called JIn and the Sea. I promise you will change your mind about the song. LOL It's just meant for fun and a laugh. OST stands for OG sound track. the song Yours is the title song for the K drama , she said this. Thanks so much for your attention to BTS.
