I love your channel. You ladies are great. I watch a few other reaction channels as well. And one thing I've noticed. They all do the same songs. Some within days of each other. With that being said. I'm a big AX7 fan. But I think they've all done this song. Maybe see what others have reacted to and pick a different song from that band. Theres soooo many great songs from these guys. I think that's because you've already been enjoying some of the best quality metal with Metallica, Pantera, and Megadeth. Avenged Sevenfold falls under the genre of Metalcore, which basically combines metal and punk rock. You're right-Avenged Sevenfold has more of a pop-metal sound that would easily land on a rock station. If you talk to hardcore, thrash metal fans like myself-fans of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Sepultura, Exodus, Testament-you find out that thrash fans typically don't like Avenged Sevenfold, at least in my experience. Avenged Sevenfold is okay, in my opinion. An even better song from them, I think, is "Shepherd of Fire." But as you explore more variations of metal (metal you would appreciate if you like thrash), you'd want to consider bands like System of a Down, Slipknot, and Korn. For now, enjoy the appetizer before you get to the dessert-keep listening to Metallica, Megadeth, and so on. Here are my next three suggestions for Metallica songs: - "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" - "Battery" - "Blackened"

I prefer A7x to all of those listed to be honest. I can't stand thrash metal in general. Though I would argue that Metallica is not thrash. Hard metal music with melodic vocals is best, or good rasp with judicious screaming, but not a fan of super low growling or "demon voice". It sounds ridiculous. This and Shepard of fire are two of my favorite songs of all time.

I noticed multiple errors right off the bat there is probablly more that I may have missed 1. 3:10 the correct lyric is "death is riding into town with armor" 2. 2:48 the actual lyric is "born again, but it's too late to atone" 3. 3:54 the actual lyric is "dare escape and learn the price to be paid" 4: 3:59 the actual lyric is "let the water flow with shades of red now" 5. never been a A7X fan.. but they have masterpieces and i highly recommend their last album "the stage". a conceptual album.. a nice quiet and beautiful song is "roman sky", which talks about a dude burned up like in 1400 for saying we're not alone. the truth is that we are not, i saw it with my eyes long ago. their videoclip of "the stage", which opens the album, is a puppet show telling "the fantastic history" of we. i think the video and music are art in its pure form

I hate fan made lyric videos. They always mess up lyrics. It is NOT “death is rotting in the town with armour.” It IS “death is riding into town with armour.” Totally changes the meaning of the line and makes less sense as rotting. Edit: this bunghole messed up another line. It’s not “I am fierce to tame them” it’s “Iron fist to tame them”.

I tell ya, when this album came out in 2012 I was in Junior high school. I was obsessed with this song(and album) I haven't heard it in years. I think I have outgrown their music though, still great musicianship and writing though. Also some of these lyrics are wrong. Like They put death rotting instead of death riding and stuff like that. And yeah, Avenged Sevenfold has been around for almost 20 years but they were kids when the band started they are in their late thirties now. Check out Trivium too if you can, they are another band that came out around the same time. A newer metal band kind of(newer than Megadeth and Metallica)
