Is there a reason for choosing the silver reflector vs. a white?
@pryingi6 жыл бұрын
Hey Joe, First, thanks for the video series. It's more down-to-earth than most I see. I really appreciate your style and teaching ability. When you transitioned the red to the background, did you just switch the aim or did you move it behind the model? Thanks
@JoeBradyPhotography3 жыл бұрын
I did a bit of both - changed the aim and moved it more behind the model!

You mentioned F!1 in the portion where you used the reflector but in the photos you post after shots it says F11 with shutter speed of 160. Did you drop down to F10 to make exposure brighter due to the reflector and only one light on the subject?

Would love you to repeat the gel shots using TTL, to see what happens and get your advice.

So what if you don’t have a light metre?
@danvonerlea3 жыл бұрын
You can use a V flat instead of the fill light
@JoeBradyPhotography3 жыл бұрын
That is of course an option. But using a fill light gives you so much more control with both the light pattern, direction and brightness.

Just perception... i dont know if the studio is a small one but i feel the series you where hovering over her a bit to close... just my 2 cents. I know for a FACT that if I had a first time client and I was so close to her she would definitively feel uncomfortable.

You're right Frank - tiny studio with not a lot of room to move around with both flashes and studio video lights. That said, I've been working with Kendra for years and we're very comfortable with each other - on top of that, her mom comes to shoots to help out, so we all work as a team. If the subject was a client, I would definitely provide more room and would not have to worry about the studio video lighting!

@@JoeBradyPhotography I've been following your work since Kelby ... Many if the things I do specially the ttl stuff I applied from u...and subscribed for a long time... It was just an observation.

No worries Frank! I appreciate your comments and always want to be aware of potential issues that could be construed the wrong way. I thank you for taking the time to share your observations.

Don't be a creeper Frank. Just because you have pervy tendencies doesn't mean everyone does

Why f 10 ?
@JoeBradyPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Why not? I could have adjusted the power of the lights, but since I wanted at least f8 to keep everything in focus, going up to f/10 (which is only 2/3rds of a stop) simply provided a bit more wiggle room!

photos with the girl over 12 years old putting their lips like in 3:28 should be punished with life long ban from photography and the photographer as well. God it looks so much like an insecure 12 year old making a selfie.
