For the viewer with the Intruder (or anyone) who has a problem bleeding the brakes, looking at the picture the lever/reservoir is slanted with the end of the lever pointing downwards and the banjo bolt upwards, (like drop bars or clip ons) so the whole setup is at about 33 degrees, this can cause an air lock! ( imagine the reservoir as a teapot or watering can) get the reservoir either level or preferably with lever up and banjo down (you can do this by clamping the reservoir on the left side of the bars then put it on the right once bled) Fill the reservoir and pull the lever to the bars and wrap some tape (or use a zip tie) around the lever and bars holding the brake "on". fluid will run into the line slowly so keep topping up the reservoir, occasionally open the bleed nipple a touch to let out any trapped air. once you have brake fluid at the bleed nipple, bleed the brake as usual keeping the reservoir slanted down with banjo at the lowest point. once you have bled the system you can move the reservoir back to the right side.

Mate go BIG, take on a CR 500 cuse I got one with problems & the shop can't figure it out. I'll be here if you do one. I got a massive run on problem then slowly runs down to a stall, especially if it's in gear. Prick of a thing & it has heaps of compression & heaps of power typical of a 500. And by the way it's road registered & a hell of a lot of fun
