Jason, you are a really remarkable fellow! I just joined your group. I like your KZbin videos but I also like the idea of the group of beekeepers helping one another. I have some that for over 30 years and have spoken as the Keynote speaker in 38 different places. So I’d be honored to be part of this group you have put together. Thanks very much for all that you do to help other beekeepers!

Hello Dan, I appreciate the kind words and I am glad you enjoy the videos I produce. Just knowing that you watch them is a huge pat on the back to me. In 2011, You were one of the instructors at a 2 days queen rearing class in Wooster, Ohio and I was one of the students. I clearly remember you and another fellow teaching a class on using the cell punch method. Jim Tew, Dana Stahlman and a couple others big names were teaching topics too. You inspired me years ago and for that I thank you. I'm am super excited that you joined my new community! Welcome to the group!!

Love seeing the management in this video. Ladybug and Moose know how to do it. 🥰

It's mainly Ladybug who knows what she is doing, Moose just follows. :)

I have one hive and it is hot, screened floor, shaded top and 1 gallon every three days of 1:1 sugar water, 104 degrees in Texas! I hope I’m not hurting them opening the hive every three days

I might add killing the mites to make strong nurse bees that raise the winter bees. Your community board sounds interesting.

I'm lucky because of the rain we had lately and flowers that gives plenty of pollen and nectar gives my bees plenty of it. I planned it well this spring by planting in stages so not everything came up at same time but with 2-3 weeks between each flowering. And 0 mite on my hives but it's because that don't have contacts with other bees.

Dearthy here in Detroit. But - golden rod is coming on.

I seen early varieties of Golden Rod blooming here. My bees usually don't touch it for another month, maybe 6 weeks.

I think it’s important to state the region you’re currently in, I’m in central Florida and it’s hard to find revenant information.

I agree, normally I start each video and mention "I'm a central Ohio" beekeeper.

Northwest Wisconsin here, our girls haven't finished capping their honey super yet....we usually start feeding in the next month or so but we wanted to wait and finally get a honey harvest...don't know what to do

You can pull the uncapped honey and put it in a dryer room.

My bees attitude never changed.i know when its a good time to disturb them and when not.i have never treated my bees with chemicals or any of the other things a lot of"bee keepers" put into their hives and i have never had problems with my bees over the last 20 years i've been desling with honey bees

My 🐝 are doing excellent no chemicals in my hives. Drone frame in your hove helps control the mites. You just have to watch and pull it before they hatch. Put in in the freezer overnight and use it again
