Two Tone Stain on Cornhole Boards

I made a set of cornhole boards for my sons wedding reception. In this video I don't show how I made the boards, just how to do a double stain of clear polyurethane and dark stain. I used FrogTape to create prefect, crisp lines. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I'll be honest, I gasped at your full board swipe (6:28) with stain over your wood burned art.... eeek.... Fortunately it came off leaving just a slight coloring. Few.... I can breath again. :) Very nice.

I've had great luck with Frog Tape and gel stains. I've now done two sets this way and the lines are very crisp. Nice work!

if you had brushed it, or even 3 coat sprayed, would you sand in between coats lightly?
