Your history is amazing, we think 200 years of history here in the Americans is actually old! Go figure? Fun video.

I know I've travelled to both Canada and America and it makes understanding history so much easier!

Loved this walk... looks a little bit like Warwickshire, but I guess anywhere in England is fabulous in the spring! I loved all the interesting houses and historical places you passed too. Fascinating! Well done

Nice little video. I have signed up to do the lowlands and moorlands leaders courses and the jobcentre are putting me on their safety course which will give a two day first aid at work certificate and they have also said that they fund an outdoor leaders first aid at work certificate as I am paying for walk leaders course . I am just waiting to hear back from the course mentor . I am suprised at how quick things are moving with walk leaders courses and membership of the MC especially because of the current international situation. As you know a lot of organisations and companies are working very slowly because of it but the way the person who answered the phone at the MC , I think she was pleased to be working for several minutes. So at present I am waiting for the first aid courses to start and I am doing a lot of walking to improve my fitness and hopefully my health. I will keep you informed about the courses if you want . Thanks Andy .

That sounds fab, where did you say you were based again? I think the Mountain Leader Courses have been running through most Covid, obviously not lockdown. Good luck with it and yes let me know how you get on :)

Hannah, please don't film gates like that--you're really confusing me!!! I think that's one of your best walks--such a great variety. Please put me up on your couch so I can visit that area!!! Great video, thanks Wild Native!

What gate? Just normal gates here, nothing strange about these gates in Kent! Thanks for your comment and for watching :)

The gate that looks in the middle of nowhere (cos you can’t see the wire fence!!) 🤣🤣🤣

William the Conqueror's half brother's house is still standing, yet most of the Bronze and Iron Age Greco-Roman era buildings are either in ruins, or buried, despite being made of stone, and in a less extreme climate. No one really knows how long the "Dark Ages" lasted, and most of Europe's history had been erased for some reason.
