Man that Seiko TV is mind boggling even by today standards :) 80's was a crazy era for sure: funky watches, poliester clothes, F1 cars with 1400hp engines, cd players, walkman's etc. 😎

Gents! T4YC. It's great to see a watch channel which doesn't slavishly follow male hetro agendas. Although I am sad that after 12 hours you only have 2300 views. Seiko is pretty much a retro brand now. Their prices have pushed their watches into areas where you can always find something more interesting. The finishing and the straps are a huge letdown. I would be happier with a much simpler, hugely slimmed down catalogue and better quality. Every single watch has a cheaper "under watch" that devalues it's more expensive brother. The "Seiko" brand should stand for something?

There are some very good Seiko divers for around $1000, the spb143, 213, and SBDC051 are all worth the price and make great daily drivers.

The Grandfather Tuna is the top, the modern version, the Emperor Tuna is number2. 62 MAS, then Marine Master 300. In my opinion. Willard is in there with the 300.
