This police officer would have been fired if you had gone to the police station and reported this to the police chief. What he did is illegal and punishable and he cannot ask for money. Did he have a small camera on his uniform?

@@sweetbachiri8572 We don’t remember seeing a camera. The staff at our Riad told us that the amount of money the officers charged us may have been illegal too, but I’m not certain. I wish we had known more about the laws and our rights during that situation, but it’s okay. We are just thankful for our safety, and the rest of our time in Morocco was fantastic!

We sorry for the police accident, please be assure that one corrupt or angry or a bad day the officer have doesn't present all police department, like all country there's good and bad, and again we sorry for that. You can always report to any bad behavior from police or any civilian to the police department and they will fire him because Morocco has strict tolerance against corrupt police ect.

@@Karugari.666 Thank you! That’s good to know. The rest of our time in Morocco was amazing. I don’t like how long we dwell on that negative experience in this video, I almost cut it out of the video completely because it doesn’t reflect how much we enjoyed the rest of our time there, but when we started documenting our travels, we told ourselves we would always be honest. It’s okay now though, we’ve moved on and we hope to visit Morocco again in the future 😊

@@yonasson762 Yes, this was last September. It took me awhile to edit these videos. We almost cancelled our vacation once we learned how bad the earthquake was, but we called the rest of our reservations and everyone insisted that we continue as planned. We did our best to give back and donate to those affected. I’m glad you are safe! We hope that you and your loved ones are well!

The weirdest thing ever is to have a good experience in Fes and bad experiences in Rabat. Like if you told any Moroccan this they will be surprised, as Fes known to be dangerous and Rabat on the other hand known to be clean and nice and open mind. It is a really beautiful city sadly this police officers ruined it for you guys. Thank you guys for putting them in a video and exposing them now they will definitely be punished I can assure you that. I guess police officers are just bunch of assholes every where, every country sadly

@@lamniniadam6700 We’ve heard that from others too! For some reason, our experience was the opposite haha. But it’s okay! @@SanaFairisse-ey9uu Morocco is incredible! We wish it was a little easier to film, but we totally understand people’s desire for privacy and we wanted to be respectful of that. Initially, we chose to visit Morocco because Mariam wanted to see Chefchaouen, but we’re glad that we took our time and explored more of the country. We loved our time there! Morocco will forever hold a special place in our hearts ☺️

@@hussardnoir7413 Haha our driver had prices listed on the dashboard of his vehicle. It was a list of popular tourist destinations. I believe we negotiated for a slightly lower price (if I remember correctly), but he had those prices printed in writing before we got into the taxi. They might have been higher prices for tourists like us though, so I’m not sure whether or not we got a good deal
