I truly missed the spectacular lantern festival in HoiAn, the thrill of walking on the Golden Bridge in BaNa Hills ... the magnificent scenery of Ha Long Bay, the beautiful chaos of Ho Chi Minh City, and the amazing authentic Vietnamese food! It is so green over there, unforgettable! I do miss ... almost everything. Indeed.

I have been to Ha Long Bay many times and I find October to be the most beautiful time of the year, the weather is wonderful, the sun is yellow, the sea is blue, and the clouds are white.

Yep. Oct is autumn in Northern Vietnam. It is the most beautiful season to visit Northern Vietnam with pleasant weather, light breeze, soft golden sunlight, high clear blue sky with floating white clouds, captivating golden ripe rice fields in countrysides or the North West mountainous regions. Autumn is also the shortest season of year ‘cos it prolongs only sereval short weeks before the colder weather gives the signal of coming winter. We are enjoying last beautiful days of fall now in Hanoi .

Beautiful video, it has made me miss Vietnam sooooooo much! I've been there 3 times and lived in Hanoi for a year, all before train street was a thing so I find it super crazy that it has exploded it popularity since I was last there. I am desperate to go back when circumstances allow but your video has given me a little taste of the Hanoi I love so much! Oh and I totally did a street food tour with Hoa about 6 years ago too 🤣 so crazy. Craving bun cha really badly now!

As long as Vietnam is still ruled by the oppressive and exploitive Communist regime, her potential remains greatly diminished. For any 1% that wants to stay, 99% of the population wants to get out, and many have risked their lives doing just that (for example, 39 doomed lives found in UK container truck recently on the news, and that's only what's been reported), unfortunately. Murderous Vietnamese Commie regime even had a thug murdered Christian pastor Giuse Trần Ngọc Thanh, like it has done with many other pastors across the nation. There is a reason why the current Commie Vietnam ranks at the bottom of the world in freedom of speech, (true) freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, barely above Commie China and Commie North Korea. There is no true freedom of religion in Commie Vietnam, as this corrupt Vietnamese Commie regime only authorized the fake organizations headed by Commie monks, many of whom were Commie Party officials, and those religious organizations not approved to be infiltrated by them or headed by their Commie agents are accused of malicious and nonexistent crimes and banned, with innocent religious leaders arrested and jailed, as in the recent case with Thiền Am Bên Bờ Vũ Trụ, a harmless Buddhist meditation monastery, for simply having many followers (hence, more influences that the regime fears it can't control) than the Commie Party's officially approved ones. Search "cuop dat dan" (meaning "land-robbing of citizens") to see millions of footages across the country from North to South, spanning for decades, dated back to Ho Chi Minh's bloody land reform 1953-1956 that killed nearly 1 million North Vietnamese in only 4 years, or 250K people brutally slaughtered in torturous painful deaths (like being shot, stabbed, mutilated while being alive, or heads being plowed over by water buffaloes while bodies being buried underground) each year on average to rob their lands and homes. Even today, if the rightful owners refuse to have their homes or lands robbed, the ruthless Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime simply jail or massacre them, have tractors run over their bodies or openly assassinate them in their own homes. When it comes to robbing, these barbarian Vietnamese Commie bandits even prey on each other, just as the recent case with then 84-year-old Mr. Lê Đình Kình, a 55-year-Commie Party veteran from Dong Tam, near Hanoi, that got shot dead at 3am in his own home by the Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime. Travelers to Vietnam in her current form (not at all like this before the Communists took over) should keep this in mind. Behind the beauty of the land and smiling faces at popular tourist destinations, there are a lot of darkness and tears, bloods, sweats, sorrow, horror, and sufferings all over the country.

This was a great video! I’m excited to visit Vietnam. The only thing I cringed at was how egg coffee was described. I hated how the word “disgusting” was used every time egg coffee was featured, especially because it was used before it was tried. It’s really disrespectful to go to someone’s country and call their food/culture (because food is cultural) disgusting. I get that everyone has their preferences, but it’s better to try it first and then state whether you like it or not (only speaking for yourself). There are sooo many recipes in the west that use eggs and condensed milk/milk. Egg coffee came from a time when the country was colonized by the British and there was a shortage of milk. So the people were resourceful and mixed egg and condensed milk to make a custard to put in their coffee. Anyway, can’t wait to try it!

As a Tour guide in Ha Long Bay before, I would like to recommend that ideal time is from Oct to Dec when the weather is getting cooler compared to summer from May to Sep ( hot & humid ). Btw, The weather is good for you to engage in outdoor activities easily, enjoy the view with sunshine, green limestone mountains....

Palawan is absolutely beautiful. The accommodations there are both expensive and poor quality though. The best place is Coron. It is still wild and not yet packed with tourists.
