Two Xbox 360 with E74 Error/ Reflow alone or Bolt Mod will fix Them???

We tested two systems with the same error code the E74 code. This code means that there is a hardware issue which usually falls under the GPU and the CPU. So I wanted to see what helps save these systems a regular reflow if the GPU or CPU or both reflow and a bolt mod that is used common for the GameStop refurbished systems

Not only is the bolt mod the worst thing you can do to fix it other then ruining the board with a reflow with too much heat. Not only that, even if it did fix the thing, it wouldn't be for very long. also reflowing the cpu and gpu was pointless as well considering the cpu is never the issue and the gpu has an internal defect. plus it wasn't a reflow, it was just heating up the cpu and gpu

@Josh-Barnett thanks for the insite. Yeah I seen alot of people do it decided why not try it for myself. Like I said I had less then $20 invested but it did get one to work. I want to test the theory if it's great and works or crap and dosent. But love learning.

The E47 error has been proven (by Microsoft) to be a fault in the connection between GPU and EDRAM within the substrate. The Bolt mod does nothing.

@Wurstifier yeah I was happy that the reheating the cpu and GPU got it working again. We always need a trial and error you know. Plus I got NXE dashboard out of it all lol

@@RETROGAMERSTASHFIXES But it won't work for too long. Try googeling "bumpgate" and search on youtube for Josh Davidson (Octal450). He is the one, who knows almost everything about 360s hardware.
